So I've played in them a couple times now. They are pretty comfortable and pretty light. Happy with them.

If not these, then usually Chucks or some other kind of slip on

Yeah, they are little stiff to begin with; but I wore them around the house a couple times and they are breaking in nicely.

    I like em so far.

I need a pair of leather sandles and hiking boots.
this is a man who knows his shoes.

Don't knock the Starbury's! I wore I pair for my sophomore basketball season as a joke and they held up better than my Hyperfuses.

New NB 610 are old man shoes, NB 461 are like the low end NB model, Starbur basketball shoes....really?

Bass for dressing up? Not the worst but for sure not the best.
He nailed the Golf shoes. And what you wear for running is not the end all be all. (Here comes the "no serious runner" comments)

The one pair I had were exceptionally comfortable & durable.

Bought a pair of these over the weekend. They are pretty awesome, haven't had a chance to do a leg workout or plyo yet but they will be tested soon. Only downside is that people ask too many questions when they see you wearing them.

I was thinking the same thing. They guy at the store I got mine said online counterfitting is rampant for FF.

Really? I wear what is comfortable and affordable for a price range since I buy so many different types of shoes. The 610 is the most comfortable walking shoe that I have found and I plan on stick with it. I don’t run more than 6 miles at a time and no more than 20 miles a week, so the 461 fits and feels great for my purpose. I am not going spent high dollar on an elite running shoe like yourself. The bass shoes work just fine in my profession. I was stunned myself with the Starburys; I tried them on as a joke and the fit well, were high top which apparently is not made for basketball anymore. I bought two pairs thinking that they would not last, but they have. The best pair I have is the 995 for field turf. Best shoe I have worn since the old style Reebok NFL turf shoes.

If they're at all like the Saucony version I wouldn't recommend them. We've heard nothing but bad things about this one.

Got a new pair a few days ago. Love them as well.

The place I went to said good things about those minimalist New Balance shoes.

In other news, I don't think I'll buy another pair of flip-flops. I'll just use Five Fingers Classics. So nice to be able to feel shit with your toes.
  • HitsRus
I've got a pair of those vibram fivefingers...they are great shoes. comfortable, versatile....great near water too, on the beach and boat.
  • I Wear Pants
Wait, so do we actually have a fucking censor now?

Dumped the Vibram's. Think they gave me plantar fasciitis which I've been struggling with for the last few weeks. I'm a heel striker when I run and I think the sprints did me in. Love the shoe, just hurts like heck when I where them.
  • Ironman92
Hard to beat a good pair of Cugas...also hard to find a pic.

You're supposed to change your stride when you run barefoot or in minimalist shoes (IE STOP FUCKING HEELSTRIKING). Of course you will get hurt if you heel strike barefoot or in minimalist shoes.

haven't bought new casual shoes, sandals, or basketball shoes in a couple of years. dont even remember what they are called..some retro jordan style I believe, adidas and AE sandals, and some Lebrons from high school.

Bought a pair of under armour shoes to work out in probably 6 months ago and they have been good for lifting, running, any type of physical activity.

I want to get me a pair of those comfortable looking moccasin things to wear around the house. Have been looking at Finish Line/Foot Locker whenever im out for another pair of casual shoes too because my jordans are starting to fall apart but havent found anything I like. any suggestions?
