Why? I wear them when running and hiking and such. They're really good for your feet. -

Not really. I think they start at like $65 and go to like $110 or something depending on the style (they have ones more suited for trails, climbing, just regular running, etc).
They're becoming incredibly popular. -
Hb31187I have honestly never seen them, made by a smaller manufacturer or a big name?
-
I Wear PantsThey're made by Vibram who isn't a huge name as far as consumer shoes go (save for the FiveFingers) but you probably own a pair of shoes with one of their soles in them. They make the soles for something like 1,000 shoe brands.

No joke and I wear them while running also. They are comfortable and when i'm running i'll take comfort over style any day. -

For working out purposes I agree, good looking shoes generally arent comfortable for the gym. At least its that way for Basketball shoes, cant really speak for running shoes bc idk. -
cbus4lifeThose Vibram toe sandal thingies are pretty darn popular in New Zealand at the moment.

I wear these to work and when I work out. -
se-alumI buy one pair of $30-$50 white tennis shoes a year. Usually KSwiss, Nike, or Cons.
-
BR1986FBIf you're interested in the "toe" shoes but are looking on the cheap, Fila makes their own called 'Skeletoes' which are quite a bit cheaper than Vibrams...

OneBuckeyeA pair of vibrams is on my birthday list. Just can't decide between the classic or a different model. I am going to replace my sandals and wear them for workouts. So I would wear them all them time during the summer except when I'm at work. Suggestions?

What type of style are you looking for? They have a brand new model that actually looks like tennis shoes. Pretty cool looking if you ask me. -

No real style, just comfort, openness and easy on/off like sandals with ability to workout in them (sprints/plyo etc). What is the new model I didn't see it on their website. -

They also have models that are open at the top that are easy to slide on & off. The pic above was all I could find. I saw a pair in white that was really sharp. -
hilliardfanI know someone who works for UPS that swears by the Vibram toe shoes. The problem I had with them was watching him take about 5 minutes just to put them on at his daughter's skating party.

I have a problem with my left pinkie toe. It curls inward so I have to pry my toes apart to get the left shoe on. -

Dick's has one where the 2 tiny toes go into the same "pocket" So it looks like only 4 toes. -

I think that might be those "Skeletoes" from Fila that I posted above. If you look at the pic it looks like the smaller toe pocket is merged together. -

That's much cheaper than Vibrams. The cheapest I've seen the FF's was $75. -
se-alumI can't get past how ridiculous those Vibrams look!
-
I Wear PantsI can't comment on the Fila ones because I haven't seen or worn them but I can say that the Vibram ones are really well made.
