I don't totally disagree, but at the same time you can't discredit a product when it's the best selling of all time.

I hardly played TDM.. Mostly Domination or something else.. Even then, people run off on their own and play as if it's TDM...

COD needs a little bit of an overhaul and hopefully COD 3 provides that.
You cant overhaul the people that play the game, which is what it seems like you're bitching about lol.

Its a GAME, people arent gonna take it serious like its desert storm and be all tactical

No one is saying take it super serial. But believe it or not people do actually use strategy when playing games (Battlefield, TF2, and Counter-Strike I'm looking at you).

I believe it, people also use strategy playing certain game types in COD which is why i dont understand the complaint. Just seems like every year this argument happens with BF and how overrated COD is.....then COD sets another record for sales lol

That's why I got into Crysis 2. I'm not one who plays online a lot, but I do love a good shooter campaign. With the more open settings that aren't as "on rails" as the average CoD level along with the suit powers like invisibility, you're able to play more strategically. You can use the invisibility to stealth-kill foes or just say "fuck it", use the enhanced armor option and charge in wildly.

It's because COD is the Transformers movie of video games. Flashy but not very much depth.

I'm not bitching about anything. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean you're bitching about it.

I enjoy COD, it is a nice change of pace, but overall, I enjoy a tactical shooter much more than mindlessly running around. I just started playing SOCOM 4 and so far, I love it. Very tactical.

And when I said overhaul COD, I meant in the way it's played. COD was supposed to have a MMO style of game coming out, which would be nothing short of amazing.

    Counter-Strike?!?!

Hardly different than COD as far as team strategy is concerned.
