    Pretty simple indeed. Yes.

I would have buried him on a pig farm

If we didn't, where is he? Congressional Library Archives? Smithsonian? Buried under the Louvre with Marry Magdalene?
  • gorocks99
Yes. I think he's shark bait now.
  • Glory Days
buried isnt the word. dumped overboard is better.

They just said on the news that they did all of the stuff and simply slid the body off a board into the ocean.

IMO, they should have put some sinkers on him threw some chum around the area or something. I wouldn't want him to float and somehow be retrieved

They did say there was weight added to him so he didn't come back up.

    Moby didn't appreciate that comment.

I'm curious why we'd want his body. Just to say we have it?

To answer the OP's question, I neither know nor care. If he's dead, that's what matters.

That's my point. Yes, we buried him, what purpose does keeping his body serve? I was just making a joke. My wife visited some relatives in Kansas last week and went to the giant salt mines/vaults near Hutchinson, KS. Maybe he's been taken there for archival.

I do wonder about this. Seems like sea burial would leave the body open to possible tampering. I know the location is not disclosed, but I would think just the possibility would be enough to do something different.

You know how many soliders on on a battle ship? A lot, be pretty difficult to cover that up if they didn't.

Do you really think someone can find the body? The world is what 70% ocean and you think someone can find this body when we have no idea were they threw it overboard.

    Yes

What? How is a burial at sea in an undisclosed location less safe than burying him anywhere else? I'd argue that it leaves less possibility for tampering with the body than an other method besides destroying the body entirely.
