Viral campaigns and the fact that EA wouldnt wanna put a convicted felon on the cover basically sealed this up for Hillis
Viral campaign? You think anyone else gives a shit about the Cleveland Browns besides their fans? The body of work shows that while the final vote may have been compromised by Vick's past, getting Hillis to the finals had absolutely nothing to do with viral support or disgust toward a dog-fighting convict.
  • Hb31187
Lol so there was no tinkering with the Voting you dont think? 2 people who werent 1 seeds and both promoted on ESPN first take just happen to end up in the finals? With the almost least likely of anyone in the voting pool picked as the winner? Right.
  • Mohican00
I'm not into the whole conspiracy thing. You think EA and ESPN want Hillis on the cover?
  • Hb31187
Apparently, according to this thread it doesnt matter whos on the cover

yay yay yay fuck yes Cleveland finally wins something champions of the world dont fuck with da browna fans we are the shit good job hillis I knew you could do it. When is the fucking parade. Super bowl this year baby. go browns go.

Not surprised you are one of the first haters on here. Still crying over the fact Peyton Hillis beat Matt Ryan, or you don't care because you will stop rooting for them once they suck? Cleveland gets one little thing, and of course you post this giberish. Who do you think made these viral campaigns? Some random fan in Montanna? LMAO gtfo. Also as wes already pointed out, you are an idiot if you believe people purchase madden based on the cover. Most people who do not like the cover make their own covers anyway.

Also you are acting like there were no viral campaigns for the other players. Your idiocy blinds you from the facts.

Browns fans did propel their player to the title. You are talking about a small market player who didn't make the pro bowl. Damn right Browns fans propelled him to the title. I don't see any other small market/"less popular" players making a run. I guess everyone thought Peyton was the only player that deserved a viral campaign, lmao gtfo.

Not surprised by the post either.

LMAO now there was a conspiracy? I am sure EA definitely wanted Hillis to beat the most recent SB winning QB in Rodgers /sarcasm. Keep it up, you are making yourself look more like a fool with each post.

Is this an attempt at English?

Of course like_that. Its the power of cleveland nation that propelled Hillis to victory. Smh

And way to contradict yourself by saying it doesnt matter whos on the cover...then later saying that you're sure ESPN wanted Hillis on the cover sarcastically....

You lost all credibility in this topic when you tried to claim there was tinkering with the votes. Sounds like an argument from a middle schooler.

So the fact that an Ex Felon and a relative nobody are the final 2 over the superbowl MVP and other superstars. And both of the finalists happen to be the only ones to campaign on ESPN doesnt raise any flags?

Why would anyone want an ex felon or a "nobody" to be the final 2 to promote a highly popular game? SMH, believe what you want. I am sure you thought the pats/rams SB was rigged because of 9/11 too.

    Likewise.

Edit: Thanks for proving you have nothing else. Go cry some more about the conspiracy. You know we landed on the moon right?
  • BR1986FB
LMAO at the idiodic conspiracy theorist "it had to be rigged because they put an unknown RB on the cover" bullshit. If that was the case, why isn't Danny Woodhead the cover boy? Idiots...
  • Hb31187
Because patriot nation has nothing on the loyal browns fans thats why

Hb31187;752104 wrote:Because patriot nation has nothing on the loyal browns fans thats why

That is CORRECT. You obviously have NO clue of the loyalty or how rabid this fan base is. But why would I expect YOU to know loyalty or passion since you're one of the biggest bandwagoners (Nuggets, Falcons, etc) on here.?
  • Automatik
Honest question....why do Cleveland fans think they are the best? I admit, they are very loyal and passionate....in their city. But they don't even compare when talking about invading an away stadium, ala Pittsburgh faithful.

My guess if they can consistently field a decent product that will change.

Are you serious? If the Browns made the Super Bowl, the turnout by Browns fans would make Steeler "Nation" look like a "go fish" game at your granny's house.
