Not rape 3 women and crash his motorcycle without a helmet. -

I can name all sorts of things he HASN'T done. What HAS he done?
- He hasn't killed a person and gotten away with it.
- He hasn't raped a chick then got away with it, making up with his wife with a big diamond.
- He hasn't participated in dog fighting. -
Art ModellIn 2 games against the Steelers he had a grand total of 54 yds rushing. hahahaaaaa

In his defense, a LOT of RBs struggled against the Steelers this year. -

Obviously didnt mean that literally. But if you put Hillis up as compared to other Madden Cover athletes or compared to Vick this year....the vast majority would be like um Peyton who?like_that;743879 wrote:Leads me to believe that this could be rigged.
Yeah half the nation doesn't know who he is, that is why he is in the finals right? smh.
And im betting that MANY of the people voting are just Browns fans who want to win SOMETHING. -

i got this from rcf...
there seems like a pretty big viral campaign to get hillis on the cover...and i'm okay with it lol. it's time for cleveland to get a win, even if it is a video game coverThe Hills/Rodgers matchup totaled 547,971 votes with 334,262 of them going to Hillis. The Vick/Peterson matchup only totaled 379,157 votes. So Hillis alone almost got as many votes as Vick and Peterson combined in the last round -
GOONx19I agree that Hillis shouldn't win it, but to say that any fan of pro football wouldn't know who he is dumb.

Agreed. If someone doesn't know a RB who had a 4.4 YPC, 1200 rushing yards, and 11 TDs ... then they aren't a fan of the NFL, and wouldn't vote in this kind of contest anyway. -
Hb31187THey wouldnt vote in this kinda contest anyway? Soemone just said theres a big viral thing to get him on the cover.....id imagine a good deal of them dont exactly follow the NFL closely

2quik4uvick should get it

Look at Peyton Hillis...then look at anyone else to ever be on the cover... -
JerseyBuckFrom PFT, found this interesting, the announcement of the winner of this contest comes on the anniversary that Vick denied being involved in dogfighting.

I'm willing to bet there was a big viral thing out for a LOT of the guys who made the "tournament."
I suppose you're right that some will vote without knowing, just because they see that he's from Cleveland, but I doubt he'd get that much MORE of that treatment than Aaron Rodgers or any of several others he's beaten.
The dude is a house, and he can run. He had a breakout year, and that was probably emphasized even more because he was from a team that hadn't turned out a back of his quality for awhile.
For what it's worth, I'm a Pittsburgh fan, but I wouldn't mind having this guy run in black and gold for a couple years (which is, unfortunately, all he'll last with his style of running). -

This just shows how rabid Browns fans are. It says something when they can get a relative "undeserving/unknown" (by some opinions) to the finals of this contest when the supposed "greatest fan base on the planet...we travel SO well" can't get their player, a much more popular player, past Patrick Willis in round 2.dazedconfused;743975 wrote:

I'm so happy for you Cleveland fans to actually have something to cheer for. hahahaaaaa -

+1. I wasn't happy that Hillis made the finals, but it is a true testament to Browns fans imo. Just further proof why they are the best fans in the NFL.

Where is BR's prediction? -
Hb31187Look at VY...you mean the 2 time pro bowl QB and rookie of the year who led his team tot he playoffs? What has Hillis done again?
-
hoops23LeCharles Bentley said he's voting for Hillis because he deserves it based on skin color. Said his skin color has held him down at his RB position before and he loved the fact that Hillis kept fighting to eventually break through the color barrier of the NFL RB...
Not kidding. -

No need to deflect, AS USUAL. What happened to Mr Dancing With the Stars, Whines Hard in the second round? You mean the "vaunted" Steeler "Nation" couldn't get him past Patrick Willis, a great player but not exactly a household name? Oh, I get it....he WOULD have made it past had the Steelers WON the Super Bowl..........
FRONTRUNNERS!!!
