dazedconfusedi've always thought twitter was dumb. i mean, who really cares what i do in my normal day-to-day life? i know i don't care what everyone else does. for the same reason, my status updates on facebook are few and far between and are almost always about sports
-
darbypitcher22I tweet. I use it mostly to follow celebs and other people though. I have 9 or 10 followers
-
HitsRusI tweet only when I feed the birds....I do a cardinal pretty well!
-
se-alumI use Twitter, but only because it's easily the best place for sports news. Typically you get the info before it hits the mainstream press.
-
THE4RINGZI don't Tweet as in sending Tweets but I do follow some news and sports sources for information. Twitter is my preferred source for news updates.

This. -
thedynasty1998I used to be anti twitter, but now I'm hooked. I follow all the big news organizations and a lot of sports analysts to get updated information and insight that I would normally have to search for. If you follow the right people and organizations, it can really be a helpful tool.
To answer the original question, no, I do not tweet. No one cares what I'm doing and I don't have any followers. -

That's not true. I'm sure there are at least 2 OC posters who care whAt you are doing. -
O-TrapSyllogism for why I don't have Twitter:
Premise 1: I have Facebook.
Premise 2: Facebook has a feature called "Status Update."
Premise 3: Status Update and Twitter accomplish the same thing, essentially.
Conclusion: Having a Facebook makes having a Twitter repetitive. -
raiderbuckI have a twitter page @japayton. I started it a few months ago, I think I have like 20 followers? haha. But it's synced to my facebook, so whatever I tweet goes right in as my FB status. I also use to to follow friends/sportswriters/celebs/etc/.,.
Follow me if you have a twitter page -

That was my original thought process on Twitter as well. However, if you use Twitter for news updates, it's completely different.
For instance, I used to follow Ocho Cinco, however he would talk about walking his dog, so I quit following him. Most of the people I follow only tweet about things that are newsworthy. -

Twitter is much more informational, and has basically turned into the best news source on the internet.O-Trap;713885 wrote:Syllogism for why I don't have Twitter:

Ah. I still seem to come across most of the world news, and even local news, through Facebook, RSS feeds, and even being on here.se-alum;713897 wrote:Twitter is much more informational, and has basically turned into the best news source on the internet.
I should note that I guess I do have one ... or rather my personal business does ... but I don't, myself. And I only update the business one about once a week, through another source connected to it. -
FiradYeah I tweet. I just tweet about whatever is on my mind occasionally and I follow athletes, celebrities and friends.
Follow me if you would like @DaRif_G -
fan_from_texasNo. I don't get it.

Understandable. I use it for more specific stuff also that doesn't get to mainstream news, especially Reds and Buckeye news. John Fay, Ken Gordon, and Bob Baptist keep me up to date on anything concerning the Reds or OSU.O-Trap;713909 wrote:Ah. Pick6every now and then I do. like others, mostly use it for news, because I really don't watch much TV. When I tweet, I mostly just RT other things. Have 24 followers I think.
@luke_skywalka -
krambmanI have twitter but I don't tweet very often. I follow a few people mainly for sports news. I have 19 follows, though I only know three of them, two of which are relatives. When I do tweet, it is mainly in response to someone someone else tweeted, or asking a question of someone. Often times I do get a response and have even been retweeted a few times. It's kind of fun being able to actually interact with those that you get your news from. If I want to post details about my life though I'll update my status on Facebook.

Ah, that seems pretty handy. I don't generally follow that kind of news, but I certainly see the market for it.se-alum;713952 wrote:Understandable. Frothy WalrusI love twitter. At first, I thought it was retarded, but once you get into it and learn how to use it/what to do....it's fantastic.
