Alsott is my favorite football player and it is a has a peice of the pylon in the card from when the Bucs won Super Bowl 37.

    nice.

it'd be interesting to go through my old cards. i have like 3 tucker totes full of football cards (including at least 1 box of unopened packs, circa 1990). plus 1 tote and 1 binder full of basketball cards (including a pretty extensive Kevin Garnett Rookie card collection since he was my favorite player when i last collected.

Manaze oddly enough I have a Alstott card collection at home. i don't know why but I like him a lot and started a while back. I wish cards were still worth something as I actually enjoyed collecting but it got kinda crazy spending $5 to $10 on a pack of cards to get 8 to 10 cards.

i had a randy johnson card that at one time was worth like 30 bucks. it was from his days as an expo. I can't imaging it being worth much now. It might have been a rookie card because I don't know how many years he played for montreal.

Those are virtually worthless right now as well. Unfortunately..like 1988 through 1994 or 1995 was the worst when it came to mass production. Virtually every card..with the exception of a few..have now become worthless.

Do not do it! I actually did that about a year ago out of curiousity! I became quite depressed!

    ^^^^

I had that one too, except it was the censored one. I had a pretty nice set of David Robinson basketball cards back in the day. Not sure what happened to all of them. I hate to say it, but I've developed a passing interest in coin collecting over the last year or so.

Cards are for little kids. Never understood why people would pay hella cash for a picture of another dude.

Is it all that different than people spending $100 books for a jersey with some other dude's name on it?

Just and FYI, Epoxy works much better.

No, it's not. Which is why the only jersey I own is a Tim Couch jersey, because Tim Couch was God.

haha nice. Thats why I only colllect Alstott and some other Bucs now. I don't care about the Beckett value. I get the cards I want and thats it.

When I was a kid collecting cards was awesome! Trading and going to shows. Now its just to much money. Plus there are 30 rookie cards of each player and I can't keep track of wich one is woth the most to care.

When Cleveland left I found Tampa and Alstott thanks to Gameday 97 (I think that was the year). I loved him, Lynch, Brooks and Dunn! I ended up liking Sapp but not at first. My Alstott collection is hugh I probally have close to 300 different alstott auto, rc, game used etc cards. I also have the dvd unopened from when they retired his number and an auto graphed 16 x 20 of him scoring the first super bowl TD in Bucs history.
