The Blind Side

YtowngirlinflaGreat heart touching movie. Great story. Oher only played one season of high school football, it's amazing how some structure can really change peoples lives.
-
jordo212000Read the book. Liked it alot. The movie looks a little cheesy in comparison to the book, but I'm sure I'll see the movie at some point
-
bigdaddy2003Is this about a Ravens player or is that just how they are making it in the movie?
-
FanOfCats

iclfan2I also read the book and I hope the movie doesn't suck. Movies never live up to the books.
-
3reppomI have read the book and hold it in high regard. I will see the movie at some point but the rumblings from a lot of people who liked the book as much I do are not good. I think people who have never read the book or heard the story will enjoy the movie more than those who haven't
-
BuckeyeBlueI'm a little leery about seeing this movie. I remember watching ESPN's story (I believe on Outside The Lines) about Michael Oher going into the draft last season, and I'm not really sure this movie will be anything different.
-
mexappeal12One of my friends said it is a must see, but I dont think he read the book. Either way, I want to see it.
-
darbypitcher22I wan't to see it. After I read the book.
-
v_falconsI'll be seeing this tomm! can't wait! though I heard Tim Mcgraw's character sucked..
-
Elliot StablerI'm seeing it tomorrow....
-
swamisezSaw it last night. really good movie. Very sincere, adapted well from the book. Also thought sandra bullock looked hotter than usual. Played a great southern woman
-
DeyDurkie5I keep hearing Sandra Bullock for oscar, (in my best Family Guy impression)...COME ONNNNN, COME ONNNNNNN
-
RiverRat13I read the book and saw the movie tonight. The movie holds up very well. It's such a good story that there didn't need to be too many liberties taken and I'm thankful the producers didn't. Excellent movie.
Glad Disney did not do the movie. I'm sure if it had that Oher would have ended up quarterbacking a 98-yard drive after telling the coach to go home to win the state championship.
And Sandra Bullock was hot. -

imex99going to see the movie this week and going to download the audiobook from audible.
-
sonofsamI am also looking forward to seeing this movie... Sounds like some great reviews so far.
-
v_falconswow, this movie was GREAT IMO.. It is a 2 hour movie, and not once did I think to myself, "when is this going to end!" Sandra Bullock was terrific! I really loved the younger boy, what other movies is he in? I thought he was quite hilarious!
-
imex99Didn't get to see this movie....Going tonight @ Easton.
-
thedynasty1998I thought it was good, but very corny.
-
wkfanI really enjoyed this movie.....
While movies are never as good as the book....I haven't read the book this time!
Great movie....and who can complain about 2+ hours of Sandra Bullock!! -
Upper90I strongly, strongly disliked it. For a few reasons.....though the entire story doesn't sit well with me, I did have an interest to check out the film, just to see how it was portrayed. I wasn't a fan, however, I could see how many people would enjoy such a story.
-
v_falconsdid you not feel the 'true story' was portrayed right?
-
Upper90Well, probably, I can't speak to it 100% of course....but, for me, it's the story in general that really makes me uncomfortable. I knew most of the details of the true story going into the film, but I simply wanted to see if the movie would perhaps sway my opinion of the story (which, to be honest, were really unfair expectations...), and it didn't.

joebaseballI saw it Monday night and my wife and I both really liked it.
