  3.8 in HS... damn math classes and a physics class my senior year tripped me up.
  
  So far in college, 3.19 cum. 3.47 for the last semester though, 1st time on the dean's list in 6 semesters... with our travel schedule and game schedule during our 2nd semester, anything above a 3.0 considering how much class we miss is considered good

  True. I barely did any work in high school and coasted to a 3.55. I took that attitude into college and mid-way through my first quarter figured I was somewhere around a 0.7. I busted my ass just to finish with a 2.2, parents were still major-league pissed. Wound up finishing around a 2.8. Would have been a 3, but a couple of electives kicked my ass and I was on cruise control for my final quarter.

  My final year of high school really hurt me since i had almost all my credits already I didnt do jack shit and i took that attitude into college and did terrible my first 2 years 2.3 but i got it up to a 3.0

  And graduated Cum Laude in college with a 3.7.
  Probly would have been better off getting more internships and getting worse grades because it seems to be much more important now a days.
