we got grades like Excellent=E, S=Satisfactory, D=Developing, N=Needs Work, or something along those lines. We received these grades for reading, writing, math skills, social skills, etc, never given the A, B, C, etc in elementary school, i dont really see the point to

There were some classes that were graded like that at my school (Art, and Music). But I'm glad the other ones were actually graded. Otherwise I wouldn't have given a shit.

About a 3.5 in high school (was 30th out of 189).

In college I ended up with an overall of 3.2 with a 3.6 in my major.

Had a couple classes in college that really dragged down the overall (a basic psychology course the rat bastard TA taught like a graduate level) and what they called Kiddie Math, which was basically theorems and proofs where you had to show why 2+2 = 4.

Never got below a B in any of my journalism or communication classes.

I wasn't the world's most dedicated student in high school. Usually right around 3. In college, it was better with an over-all of 3.3 and a graduate school average of 3.9.

Didn't mean shit in college, though. After three semesters I was rocking a 1.6 I think. Ended up graduating with a 2.99 after getting my ass in gear.
Same here, lol. College was pretty fun. :D

ended up with 2.25 or so. Was within striking distance of a 3.0 going into senior year. Then I got a 26 on the ACT and accepted into college and completely mailed in my senior year.
