As I mentioned, you were in the slight risk. Northeasterern Ohio is still getting pounded as we speak with 70 MPH winds and 1" hail in severe thunderstorms.
Geez now you tell us. You had my whole family huddled in the basement. Two of my kids soiled themselves. Some weatherman you turned out to be.
Don't blame him, Weathermen don't look out the window :)

Hey, the area in the moderate risk got everything that was advertised.

The Clyde tornado report has not been added yet.

No doubt there will be reports but a moderate risk=bullshit. It was a now cast all along. You should know we don't get NE moving storms especially at 60 mph where did ya want them to develop Cape Giraradeau? LOL
    ???

Come on man. I am not dogging ILN but NE moving storms don't hit SW or Central Ohio unless they develop in Branson Mo and that was a no-no. No way did it warrant a moderate risk for anybody. If it wasn't for a lake breeze near Erie than there wouldn't have been shit. You go 50 miles south of Lake Erie and what 5 reports? Joke for a moderate risk at least give it that.

Im going to make my own weather prediction for the rest of the night... If you got rain, you might see more. If you haven't had any rain, you might get some. Today's weather report was HIGHLY overrated. I went outside and made sure all the lawn furniture was secure, the flags were brought in, and loose items were secured.

    BTW, STILL nothing.

Just trying to get you ready for the big leagues. Weathermen gotta take some shit.

    I'm used to it.

Part of my grad job is to oversee forecasters who issue public forecasts on a website. I get the hate mail sent to me :)

Well I am crashing out the NOAA weather radio gets another day off.
    Joke of a Moderate Risk=BUST

Somebody's mad they didn't get any weather.

Clyde, Fremont, Waterville and Grand Rapids will disagree.

Well I'm about 15 minutes south of Cortland, who got brutally beat down last night, and I spent about 20 minutes outside watching all of the lightning to my north, it was pretty awesome, and then sometime after I went to bed Liberty got pounded too.

I'd say the reports were legit, but the tornadic cells were spread out a lot more than I woulda thunk.

You can add the Sandusky-Huron area to that list as well.

Strong winds and thunderstorms in Wooster last night but no tornadoes.

I live on Lake Erie. I don't think they underestimated this storm. It was very real and very intense.
  • darbypitcher22
damn the lightning, down pours and hail cores were CRAZY up here last night

Thank God the weather didn't hit the Sandusky area on Thursday night. That would have made the Perkins Relays a very difficult proposition, indeed!
