Is Bud Light the best beer in the world?

It's funny though because Coors Heavy is actually really good.

I'm not too partial with beer. If I go to a restaurant that has some special import, I'll try it over something domestic. On an everyday basis, my choice is Bud Light. However, my top 5 of all time are.

    1. Corona Extra
    2. Sam Adams (Doesn't Matter)
    3. Bud Light
    4. Anything Negra Modelo
    5. Tie between a couple different Ales and Lagers I've had from Irish Pubs

Nati, Busch, PBR are all decent, but I can't see myself buying or drinking them anymore since I'm out of college.

I like Bud Ice a great deal... We like to refer to it as "Bud Grenades"... Also like Labatt Ice... just hard to find them in a bar much.

Haha, "Bud Grenades". I like that.

I know some old hag is going to come on here proclaiming about this micro brew, Candlecocks #21 or some BULL just to sound cool and sophisticated(you're drinking beer remember), but seriously Bud Light pound for pound is the greatest beer of all time. It tastes great, its relatively cheap, it doesn't fill you up, and its smooth as a whistle.

And seriously, no one cares about some beer you had in Mexico in 1979 that is better, because even if it exists, no one cares.

    Thoughts?
Bud light is like goat semen watered down horrid awful beer for idiots who have no taste buds.

I drink expensive beers "to sound cool" I guess. Strangely, sleeper often mentions how much money he has and yet only drinks the cheap shit?

When we have a family function I usually include Bud Lite in the collection. We have four sons who all have a beer now and then and we are not name droppers around here. I'll usually pick up a six or two or a twelve of something that I know is very popular with the boys other than Bud Lite, but it isn't anything exotic. Coors Lite and a couple of others sometimes find their way into our garage.

Coors Lite is the shit. No beer, imo, is better than an ice cold Coors Lite.

Great Lakes Brewery is also some of my fave.

However, I'm more of a Whiskey guy. Give me the Old No. 7 with a Coke and I'm set.

I drink expensive unpopular beer to sound cool. That being said...I've honestly never met a beer I couldn't choke down, Bud Light included.

I will give Bud and Miller their respect because they are able to mass produce cheap beer that taste the same every time. However before Bud and Miller and Coors the number one selling beer in America for a number of years was Pabst Blue Ribbon. Before that there were thousands of brewers in the US and every region had its favorites just like sport teams.

Bud, Coors, and Miller were smart enough to recognize before anyone else that if you marketed your shitty ass beer hard, stupid people would buy it. They are the best in the world at this, if that makes you feel better.

I don't eat yellow snow and I don't drink yellow beer.

Pabst Blue Ribbon is a boss hogg beer. No doubt about that. Really can't hate on their swag at all. In fact, I may pick up a six pack of Pabst tonight. Haven't had one of those in awhile.

But yea, really, who is fucking with Bud Light?

And I also agree: Fuck that guy who's always like "Dude, I have a triple wheat amberbach summer honey ale at a microbrewery one time in aspen that would rock your socks off."

    GET THE FUCK OUT!!!!!!!!!

Ha I'm not with Bud Light Sage. Like I said earlier in the thread I will drink it if it's free but other than that I'm not down with it.
