New Tiger Woods Nike Commercial

    I thought it was a decent commercial. I was expecting more from Nike for Tiger's first commercial though. Nike is smart though for not dropping him. He'll be back on top, even with questions. Greatness shines through even the darkest of clouds.

    I am not sure why people think it is creepy or disturbing. It is definitely Tiger once again publicly acknowledging what he did and it is a very poignant commercial. I thought it was a great commercial as most Nike comercials are.

    I understand what you are saying, but how does it really promote Nike products. I could understand if it was an unknown company just trying to get their name in front of the public, but this is Nike. I don't understand how this sells Nike products.

    Oh well, I guess as they say any publicity is good publicity.
    Yeah, it may not sell Nike products to you, but advertising it is all about further extending name recognition. Something like this will make you think about Nike, even when you already know about them. So maybe when you are looking for a new pair of sneakers, it will enter your subconscious, and make you get those air jordan's instead of adidas. Just the fact that this commercial has some controversy makes it gold. I even saw it on CNN. That is free advertising that Nike doesn't even have to pay for.

    How many Nike commercials do you see that actually advertise a specific product? I don't remember any to be honest with you. Nike has the Kobe and Lebron puppets. How is that promoting a product?

    I don't know how anyone can argue against Nike's marketing plan though, because they are the masters of advertising.

    I actually bought a pair of Nike running shoes a couple months ago that is their new technology and I absolutely love the shoes and thought, why doesn't Nike advertise them more. But then I realized that as soon as I walked into the store, I looked exclusively at Nike shoes, so they already did their job.
