New Tiger Woods Nike Commercial
-
krazie45Simple yet very effective. Going to air tomorrow during the Masters.
-
ohiotiger33Figured Nike would do something.
My one question: How much stock footage of Woods' dad is there? haha. -
thePITmanCreepy. Heard about this on my way to work this morning on the radio.
-
se-alumVery creepy and a bit disturbing.
-
darbypitcher22I thought it was a good commercial. Apparently some marketing company out of the Netherlands or Norway or something came up with it
-
ohiotiger33I'm not sure how it is disturbing? They used his fathers 2 years ago as well to narrate a commercial.
-
4cards...I think it was creepy.
-
vdubb96I thought it was a very good commercial. I'm sure there will be some backlash but when isn't there.
-
buckeyefallsIt's creepy when you see Mr. Robot (Woods) standing there.
-
MulvaThat sure puts me in the mood to purchase some Nike gear.
-
TiernanPretty common knowledge that Daddy chased more pussy than Rin Tin Tin. So this is kinda hypocritical if you ask me. Now if his Mom dressed him down that would have more impact and be more believable.
-
Little DannyTiernan I actuall agree with you. I am sure Earl gave Tiger as much advice about skirt chasing as he did about sinking a putt. I think a commerical with his mom lashing out at him and hitting him over the head with a golf club would have been great. I know from his first press conference she was pretty ticked..
-
BigAppleBuckeyeInteresting indeed, but what the hell does this have to do with Nike products?
It's like watching an Elephant on fire walking a tightrope ... then fading to a Burger King logo with the phrase "have it your way." -
superman
If that commercial aired, I would go buy a Whopper just to support it.BigAppleBuckeye wrote:

LeagueMVPlol
-
thedynasty1998Nike is more about the brand than a specific product, so I do think it's effective.
I was glued to the commercial when I first saw it this morning. Although it's creepy, I think it is highly effective. -
SQ_CraziesThis is why Nike is smart and didn't drop Tiger.
-
wildcats20Been aired already a handful of times on ESPN and the Golf Channel this morning. It's all we're going to see this weekend.
-
Pick6i thought it was stupid really..
-
sonofsamStupid commercial and stupid person. I will never be a Tiger fan again. That commercial made me want to go buy some Reeboks.
-
TimberI know this is old but, Nike's new slogan:
"Just do her" -
HereticZombie Dad wants to know if you've learned anything, Tiger!
-
Polar Bear 73Yeah, I agree a little creepy. I know it gets the Nike brand name more publicity, but is there really anyone out there who doesn't know who Nike is? I would prefer to know about their new products than see some ad with a ghost voice.
-
ohiotiger33You guys realize that by getting us to talk about this ad, positive or negative, the ad has done its job. Probably even better than they thought. It was a controversial ad, so it also got free play on news stations all day as well.
Nike advertising team= GOAT -
Polar Bear 73
I understand what you are saying, but how does it really promote Nike products. I could understand if it was an unknown company just trying to get their name in front of the public, but this is Nike. I don't understand how this sells Nike products.ohiotiger33 wrote: You guys realize that by getting us to talk about this ad, positive or negative, the ad has done its job. Oh well, I guess as they say any publicity is good publicity.
