i thought it said who would be living in the house as of june 1st, not april 1st.friendfromlowry wrote: Here's the thing: I received mine in the mail on St. Patrick's Day. I filled it out that night, and as predicted, it's still sitting on the floor waiting to be mailed back. It says fill it out as of April 1st. Well, as of April 1st, my two other roommates and I will be living in an apartment together. As of April 30th, I will be moving back home 50 miles away, one is moving to new york, and the other is moving in with his girlfriend in a different city. So it's like we're telling the government three people live here but within a few weeks, we wont be living there.
P.S. they can send people to the door all they want. Between work and school and social lives, hardly any of us are ever there. The person would have to be lucky to find the right two-hour time frame of the day to show up and have one of us be there and not asleep. -

Fine you a couple thousand for every question you dont answer.Big Red Monster wrote: Really, what can they do to you if you dont fill it out? -
friendfromlowryI'm pretty sure it was April 1st. I'll have to go back and look at it. I guess June 1st would make more sense as some people don't even have there's yet, and it's April 3rd...oh well, who cares.

I found an article that said $100, and a false answer could be $500. However, the non-participation fine is almost never actually given out.Big Red Monster wrote: Really, what can they do to you if you dont fill it out?
Regardless, you're being a douche by not just filling it out. -
