Tattoos are cheating?sjmvsfscs08;1331453 wrote:They don't count when you cheat.
The games were won on the field without cheating, the NCAA just typically over does it with the past game penalty hammer when it comes to VIOLATIONS like tattoos and boosters. -

Right. OSU has given more losses to other teams in BCS bowl games than any other team. ND has won zero. LOLsjmvsfscs08;1331453 wrote:They don't count when you cheat. -

Using ineligible players in games is cheating, right? -

Why are you bringing up Notre Dame? And you're always in the Notre Dame threads.sleeper;1331464 wrote:Right. OSU has given more losses to other teams in BCS bowl games than any other team. ND has won zero. LOL -

They were approved to play in the game by the NCAA. Only after they won they were declared ineligible.karen lotz;1331469 wrote:Using ineligible players in games is cheating, right?
ND, more negligent deaths than BCS bowl wins. -

Because it's been 20 years since ND has been relevant and their fans still talk shit about Ohio State.Mooney44Cards;1331471 wrote:Why are you bringing up Notre Dame? And you're always in the Notre Dame threads. -

In your words its been 20 years since ND's been relevant. Why do esteemed osu fans feel the need to talk shit about them constantly? HMMMM -
TiernanHow many illegally recruited kids did Mooney have playing this year?

lol, didn't you think it ironic that you were slamming sleeper about being on ND threads while you're on an OSU thread? Wait, now that I think about it, you wouldn't--now get on back to playing with your 12 year old cousin. (because you asked)Mooney44Cards;1331481 wrote:You forgot your hilarious smiley face! Oh I don't care about ND. Just when any ND fan spouts off anything negative about OSU and forgets entirely that ND is at such a low level of accomplishments in the past 20 years that they are more of a Sun Belt school than a big time program ND fans claim it to be.karen lotz;1331484 wrote:In your words its been 20 years since ND's been relevant. Pretty simple. I don't mind the criticism of OSU on or off the field provided the argument is well backed and is not thrown from a glass house. For example, if you talk shit about the lack of big games OSU has won, it's easy to point out ND has never won a BCS bowl game. If you say OSU has cheated, it's easy to say ND is responsible for the death of a young child. If you say ND would beat OSU in a game, it's easy to point back to 2006 when ND thought the same thing and got BLOWN OUT. Really, ND fans need to keep their mouth shut and actually accomplish something before even attempting to be critical of one of the most successful programs recently and in history. -

The difference is, I didn't come on here to bash OSU. But I'm also not going to let some dumb statement like "Ohio State has won more BCS bowls than any other team" slide when it is not true no matter which way you slice it. Then when sleeper is called out on it, he childishly moves the goalposts of his argument, yet you're on his side because its all about OSU fans vs. Notre Dame fans isn't it? Some OSU fans on here are so damned pathetic that I can't even come in to an OSU thread to discuss OSU (I watch pretty much all their games and cheer for them most of the time) without it turning into a Notre Dame vs. Ohio State thing. -

Using players you know are ineligible is cheating.karen lotz;1331469 wrote:Using ineligible players in games is cheating, right?
Using players that are given the "ok" by the NCAA and years later the NCAA determines they were ineligible is not cheating.
By definition, cheating is something you knowingly do against the rules. The team/coaches didn't know the players were ineligible when they played the game. -

Except for the entire season after Tressel was alerted to the violations. Also kept stuff from the NCAA prior to the bowl game, but I'm sure you already knew that. -

Tressel is more concerned with the health and safety of his players rather than meaningless violations crafted by people with nothing better to do.karen lotz;1331519 wrote:Except for the entire season after Tressel was alerted to the violations. How's BK and the health and safety of his players working out? -

Really well, thanks for asking! -
ts1227Their pretty easy schedule next year could lead to them getting plowed in a bowl game by a team that actually doesn't suck.
