So you are claiming they are only a big draw for 2012?

    Primetime: ND vs UM 4.0
12 noon: OSU vs Michigan 6.3

You shouldn't need a link. How stupid do you have to be to question how big of a draw Notre Dame is? You and vball are the only ones questioning it so that should give you an idea.
Excuse me? Who the fuck do you think you are calling me stupid? There are many posts throughout this board that I could've called you out on, but decided that other posters were doing a good enough job as it was. I call you out, then by all means respond, but otherwise keep me out of it.

No, but he has posted ratings from one season as well. 2008. Does that mean they aren't a big draw?

No, but any team or conference has up and down ratings years. ND is no exception.

Not to mention tshirt sales. What were osu's TV ratings for the 4th week of the season and what were ND/SC?

That is false. That is just a quote from one of my articles. What those pathetic ratings do mean, however, is that ND has a bunch of bandwagon fans.

No, those would be fairweather fans. And I completely agree there are a lot of them. Just like there are fair weather fans of every fan base.

yeah..they dont like when you use facts, though. Apparently you can fabricate your own "facts" and its trolling if somebody proves you wrong.

You'd probably find similar ratings for teams like the Dallas Cowboys when they're having a good season as opposed to a bad one....

And are some people still whining about an early 4th quarter pass interference call in the Pitt game? As if Pitt didn't have multiple chances to put the game away following that? EVERY team that has ever won a national championship has had a couple breaks go their way during the season. I know that's hard to fathom....but believe it or not every team has had a call go their way a time or two in a season...even your team (whoever that may be).

As for the Stanford game...the NCAA released a statement saying that the refs were correct to not overturn that call at the end of that game. No way you overturn that call without conclusive evidence and there was nothing conclusive after they looked at that replay numerous times.

Thats probably true, but Im not on here calling Dallas far and away the biggest draw in sports with no evidence to back it up, and calling people stupid that disagree with me and post facts.

    How arrogant is that?

This is an hilariously ridiculous argument you all are having.

I have nothing against Bama or Georgia, but I will be rooting for ND. This season reminds me of OSU in '02, nearly losing to Cincinnati, pulling off a Holy Buckeye vs Purdue, then having a few games where they looked dominant. Rarely does anyone steamroll their way to a BCS title (Miami in '01 and USC in '04 are probably exceptions).

Very glad ND won so we wouldn't have to see Florida vs. the Bama-Georgia winner.

Lol at ND fans getting all bowed up. It's cool, I remember the first time my favorite team was #1 in the BCS.

The SEC dominance doesn't really bug me, I kinda appreciate it. I still would have pulled for ND though, however lotz just simply sucks ass, so I rather see ND lose.

I actually wondered this earlier, how many close games to the national champions typically have? What was the last team to go undefeated and win every game by more than one possession? I checked records while watching Homeland, so I could be wrong, but here:

year: team (record) - games within one possession.

    2011: Alabama (12-1) - 1
    2010: Auburn (14-0) - 6
    2009: Alabama (14-0) - 2
    2008: Florida (13-1) - 1
    2007: LSU (12-2) - 6
    2006: Florida (13-1) - 4
    2005: Texas (13-0) - 2
    2004: Southern Cal (13-0) - 4
    2003: LSU (13-1) - 3
    2003: Southern Cal (12-1) - 1
    2002: Ohio State (14-0) - 7
    2001: Miami (12-0) - 1
    2000: Oklahoma (13-0) - 3
    1999: Florida State (12-0) - 3
    1998: Tennessee (13-0) - 4
    1997: Michigan (12-0) - 4
    1997: Nebraska (13-0) - 3
    1996: Florida (12-1) - 3
    1995: Nebraska (12-0) - 0
