1. So the NCAA would have been pissed if OSU self-banned for last year because of the lost revenue for the BCS system, so the punishment would have been to do another season bowl ban and more lost $$$$?
2. Miami v. OSU 2002. Anything can happen.
2. '02 defense not even comparable to the 12" defense. Think '76 steelers vs 2012 Bengals -

Who the hell said anything about a BCS bowl last year. This year, ANY top 6 team would kick the shit out of OSU's Defense.Pick6;1313270 wrote:OSU was nowhere near a BCS game last year lol -

I'd be wondering how bad Storm Klein would look against Alabamas RBs -

1. There is no way that the NCAA would have allowed the OSU to back out of the BCS game last year. Too much lost revenue. And if they did back out, The NCAA would have hammered them another year of no post season play.
2. If the Buckeyes were BCS eligible. They would get hammered by ANY legitimate BCS bowl team this year. This team has the worst defense that I can remember this century.Devils Advocate;1313384 wrote:Who the hell said anything about a BCS bowl last year. Pick6well that doesnt make any sense, either. If they would have declined a BCS game, it would have been the Sugar Bowl against Arkansas. Why would OSU decline that game anyways? The NCAA LET them play. Plus OSU had no way to know a post season ban was coming when details were first being leaked.

Oops, the sugar bowl against Arkansas is the game I meant. Didn't we ask to let them play as long as they promised to come back the next year and serve their suspension? And then it came out that "we" knew more than we admitted and that's when things started to get ugly.Pick6;1313851 wrote:well that doesnt make any sense, either.
