AutomatikYeah, after the known guys get taken you gotta start searching for guy you hope pan out.
I initially thought Mongomery was a good choice, then read he's still battling for the fucking #3 WR spot. -

I would hold on to Montgomery. I would have taken a late flier on him, over Janis, if I hadn't already drafted Adams. -
lhslep134Gport that's why I never draft a QB early. You could have had a better RB2 and had Stewart as your flex. But I really like what you did later with Charles Johnson, Quick, Stevie Johnson, and Torrey Smith. High upside guys.

IF stewart can stay healthy (big if, I know) I think I'll be okay with a 4wr 2 rb lineup. Esp if tevin Coleman starts getting playing time and I can flip them out as needed. I like my 4 Johnson receiving corelhslep134;1748452 wrote:Gport that's why I never draft a QB early. You could have had a better RB2 and had Stewart as your flex. Raw Dawgin' it10 team PPR. I had the 10th pick. I reached on Brady with my 3rd pick because I'm a homer and I like having a Patriot on my team to root for. I missed out on some good WRs by doing that and could've gotten a decent QB later.
QB Tom Brady, NE
RB Frank Gore, Ind
RB Jonathan Stewart, Car RB
RB/WR Doug Martin, TB
WR Julio Jones, Atl WR
WR A.J. Green, Cin WR
TE Greg Olsen, Car TE

You'll be fine...provided Stewart is the healthy bell cow, RB1 that he has the opportunity to be now. I think Gore is going to have a fine year. I don't see him flirting with the top 5 but I can't see him outside the top 20 either. You are elite at WR and QB.Raw Dawgin' it;1748663 wrote:10 team PPR. I had the 10th pick. Azubuike24I'd probably fill my bench with another upside RB and drop Crabtree. Maybe Matt Jones of Washington? You definitely want to have another RB option who could be a starter, as Jennings and Matthews no matter what, are going to platoon (both are in 3 RB systems).

Not a bad thought, he was picked up in the last round of the draft though.Azubuike24;1748693 wrote:I'd probably fill my bench with another upside RB and drop Crabtree. Maybe Matt Jones of Washington? Azubuike24This was my main money league team...10 teams, 16 rounds, PPR.
QB Ben Roethlisberger (5th)
RB Jamaal Charles (1st)
RB C.J. Anderson (2nd)
WR Mike Evans (4th)
WR Jeremy Maclin (6th)
TE Larry Donnell (14)
FLEX Jeremy Hill (3rd)
DEF Houston (16th)
K (empty)
BN C.J. Spiller (7th)
BN John Brown (8th)
BN Ryan Tannehill (9th)
BN Nelson Aghalor (10th)
BN Ryan Mathews (11th)
BN Martavis Bryant (12th)
BN DeVante Parker (13th)
BN Julius Thomas (15th)
I felt like I pretty much will dominate if I get consistent WR play. I think Tannehill/Roethlisberger is a great platoon depending on match-up. -
Terry_TateMartavis Bryant in the 12th was a steal. I know he's suspended for 4 games but I think he's a no doubt fantasy starter over Maclin once he returns.

sportchamppsThat team is really good Maclin will be a beast maybe you can trade one to upgrade at TE

sportchamppsHow do you like your team in my league AZU

It's solid. I think both McCoy and Gore could be risky, but Ivory is a decent savior and in a PPR format, I think Antonio Brown, Amari Cooper, Allen Robinson, John Brown and Kendall Wright combo is pretty stellar. Tevin Coleman and David Johnson, if either have value later in the year, could help in case of injury. Tannehill and Manning, both can use them depending on the match-up. Same as above though, Donnell and Gates at TE could be weak and I like the Jets defense considering their schedule.sportchampps;1748985 wrote:How do you like your team in my league AZU -

Some people who don't understand PPR in your league. Amari 5th, Maclin 6th, and despite not being the "starter", the last 2 years, both Detroit RB's have finished in the top 24 of PPR (Abdullah in the 11th). If Bradford's ACL doesn't get fucked, you're gonna cruise to a top 2-3 finish easy. If Foster or Gordon pan out, you also have options at RB.Raw Dawgin' it;1749243 wrote:Second team - 9th pick in a 10 team PPR. 1 Rb, 2 WR, 1 flex.

Let me guess, QB's get salivated over in your league? -

Luck, Rodgers, and Brady went in the first 3 rounds. Once they were gone my focus was taking as many RBs and WRs as possible and waiting on a QB and Te late.Azubuike24;1749248 wrote:Some people who don't understand PPR in your league. Azubuike24We basically have the same strategy. Almost every PPR league I'm in, I'm trying to load up on the WR's in the top 18-30 range. Maclin, Allen, Robinson, Brown, Johnson, Marshall, Cooper, Aghalor and Landry. Hopefully, I have at least one elite WR and one mid-range WR and can usually go 5-6 deep. It almost assures you points from the WR spot every week. The way the players are falling this year, the RB's are so up in the air after the top 10 or so.
Heck, in one draft that was 14-teams (3 WR and flex, picked 8th), I took Julio, got Hilton on the way back. Then took Landry, Cooper, Maclin and Brown. Now while my RB's are weak, I grabbed as many pass catching RB's as I could and ended up with Woodhead, Bernard, Sims, Sankey and Bush. -

Same strategy here. My two big leagues drafted early so I posted my teams a while back. In the one league, I kept Mike Evans and went Dez/AJ Green/Emmanuel Sanders and can play all 4 of them weekly. Good chance of having 4 top 12 WRs. RBs will rely on JStew and PPR guys like Woodhead. -
WhatAboutBobSo for the people hating on my team, I won my matchup by 30 points!! I guess I do know how to draft a good squad...

It's call a wet dream, Bob. They happen from time to time. I think what Hopkins, Eifert and Hyde did for you are totally sustainable all year.WhatAboutBob;1750986 wrote:So for the people hating on my team, I won my matchup by 30 points!! I guess I do know how to draft a good squad... -
WhatAboutBobYou're right but if would have played some of my bench players I would have won by 50...
