I have too many OFs. I would like to package two of those guys for a better player and then take back your worst player. Anybody feel free to send me an offer.

Who are you willing to give up, any of them? I would like to take on Choo and Gordon if possible (mainly cause it will match up with my other league lol). I gotta make the deal with Trep firts though before I do any wheeling and dealing with you.

Out of all of those guys, I would most want to hang onto Choo. But I mean I am never the type to arbitrarily take guys off the table.

    Laley you have an offer

I actually just got another offer for Phillips from "Below Me" haha. But I'll hold off on talking trade with him to see if we can get something done.

Sent a counter. I dont want to give up Upton for anyone on your team, but pretty much anyone else is fair game.

Oh. Well, honestly, something around Upton is probably what I would want for Phillips. Guess we're not a good match for a trade right now.

You would rather have Upton than Matt Kemp?

That was honestly the thing that was keeping me hung up. I almost made the counter with Matt Kemp involved. But decided against it. I watched Matt Kemp implode in the second half last year, and even though he has put together full seasons, that scares me (ala, Dan Haren).

I tried to make another trade with you (the 6 players you tried, +2 more) but it said they were involved in a transaction. If you make it again, Ill counter with the one I had in mind. For some reason I keep getting that message with a few teams.

Trep and I just did a deal. Im banking pretty hard on Greinke being healthy and returning to form versus the NL (as opposed to the AL hitting).

Looks like you guys got a pretty good deal done.

Laley, you have definitely upgraded your infield through these last couple of trades.

agreed. though some positions are weaker, the upgraded MI I think will subsidize it.

Pretty pleased with my pitching as well right now:
    -Price
    -Weaver
    -Scherzer
    -Greinke (potentially great, potentially bad)
    -Pineda
    -Masterson
    -Lowe
    -CJ Wilson
    -Hellickson

yeah your pitching staff killed it this past week. I think I saw that you had like 80 Ks

Sans Weaver, though Romero was big.

Dusty Baker's Toothpick, you have a proposal

Yeah if you look at Kemps numbers at the start of last season they are pretty similar to what he is doing now. And then he basically slumped the rest of the season.

    On April 22nd last year he was hitting .333, 7 HR's, 20 RBI's, 20 runs, and 2 SB's.

    On April 22nd THIS year he was hitting .400, 4 HR's, 15 RBI's, 15 runs, and 8 SB's.

So you see a spike in his batting average and stolen bases. It'll be interesting to see if he can return to '08 and '09 form
