The original Tea Party movement was started by a group of libertarians in Chicago. I guess that is true about the modern tea party that has been hijacked by neo-con cunts like Michelle Malkin, but the true Tea Party was a pure libertarian movement.

Yea, i understand that, should have clarified. My bad.

In its current form, exemplified by Palin and the entire convention this past weekend, i see it as a weak charicature of what it started out as.

    Quickly becoming a joke.

Started out full of promise, i remember hearing about it on JJ last year and it seemed like a good start, full of smart, intelligent people.

Now, it is almost uncomfortable hearing members of the movement talk, from Palin on down, their lack of knowledge on what they're supposedly fighting against is laughable.

Name them. Some examples of them doing anything this retarded would help.

    Tony Snow
    Dana Piero

In regards to Palin....she opened herself up to stuff like this when she said Democrats and liberals wern't "Real" Americans
You're disqualified from the conversation. Run along now.

Funny how your opinion of bashing the dead changes when the dead man was a member of another party.

I am still waiting to see the example that fish is asking for. Gibbs is a childish little baby for pulling this stunt. Totally beneath the office of the President of the United States.

LOL....yeah. You're gonna have to step up your game a tad to hit my nerves, sparky.

You're aware that Snow is widely regarded by both parties as one of the best Press Secretaries in recent memory?

But like I've already asked for....if you'd be so kind as to post up an example of Perino or Snow doing anything remotely this idiotic, I'll gladly give you your due. I'll be waiting.

I can't stand him. The whole Chicago-crew is sinking Obama's presidency.

Obama is the leader of that Chicago thug crew. As for you bashing the tea parties....you are real far from reality. Sure they are protecting those businesses but not directly.
The current incarnation of the Tea Party movement makes a mockery of all the legitimate, informed, intelligent, rational movements that have always made American democracy enviable and full of wonder and possibility.

I believe there is a difference between being ignorant towards something and not knowing something

    I didn't know he was dead....sue me

As to the post that started this arguement.....I was not mocking Mr.Snow because he was dead(like many of you were with Rep.Murtha),I was simply stating that from what I've read and heard....I think he was below average as WHPS

    ignorant
    1. lacking in knowledge or training; unlearned: an ignorant man.
    2. lacking knowledge or information as to a particular subject or fact: ignorant of quantum physics.
    3. uninformed; unaware.
    4. due to or showing lack of knowledge or training: an ignorant statement.

I would say you meet the definition of ignorant concering Snow's passing. I am ignorant of many things and unless you are all knowing you are as well.
