This was all over Twitter last night.

So gamers, with the help of Discord, are homophobes, bigots, Nazi's. All under the umbrella of the alt right. No distinctions. This has always been "known".
NBC is just getting stupid now.

    LOL!

That's just dumb. I have a sincerely hard time believing that those actually saying what they're saying in the video believe it.

The knucklehead in particular who first said that Alt-Right individuals used Discord because they'd already been part of the gaming community and then turned around and mentioned that it's very lightly monitored basically just put the cart before the horse. It seems at least as likely (and from a logical standpoint more so) that Discord was chosen because it's lightly monitored and relatively private.

"But how did they know that?"

    Easy.

    1. Google.

    2. If a small pocket of the Alt-Right were gamers (as it would be foolish to assume there's no crossover whatsoever), it wouldn't take much for Discord use to spread just from them lightly pitching it to others.

NBC trying to make this story fit is the equivalent to a cat trying to catch a laser pointer dot.

I had to look-up the word because I've never heard it. Of course, back when I was in school they weren't teaching us about optional gender choice, they were teaching gender was a social construct and didn't matter - everyone was their own individual. I guess liberals decided that wasn't radical enough because pretty much everyone agreed with it.

Donna Brazille letting the dirt fly ........... proving again what a corrupt, slime-filled entity that is Clinton Inc.

I don't know if he will or not, but here's my concerns:

Part of me thinks it is a great thing that women are now feeling emboldened and not intimidated anymore and that they can expose these things that happen to them.
The other part of me has to wonder if each incident, regardless of political spectrum, are hit pieces.

You have a valid point that I've also wondered about. However, since the current political stance is that the accusation is enough, will the same people calling for Moore to step down call for Franken to do the same? There's no valid reason for this not to be the case.

That was my concern also. However, in this case, there is at least 1 picture.

Yup. Hilarious. The holier than thou getting accused is great

Nothing more predictable than something like this coming out about Franken and none of us predicted it.

The converse also needs asked: Are those who insist that Moore shouldn't have to resign for this going to also insist that Franken shouldn't?

Even still, I think we should insist on being better than getting caught up in it. Guilt should require evidence beyond reasonable doubt, regardless of the emotional difficulty. That isn't to say that we don't respect the accusers or assume they're lying, either, I suppose, but if we're going to get someone sent to prison with a target on their back ... or even slaughtered in the court of public opinion, we should require more offered than accusations.

I'd just like to see consistency.

Is there a photo out there somewhere clearly showing Roy Moore squeezing an unconscious woman’s tits?

    Asking for a friend.

Can’t believe the amount of support Franken is getting lol like he’s actually being applauded by libs for how he’s handled this. Completely ignoring that he just admitted to sexual assault; he instead gets applauded as a true leader who admits he messed up and doesn’t victim blame.

Isn’t it funny how divided we are as dems/repubs in this country that each side will frame their arguments based on whether someone has an R or a D next to their name? Smh

IMO, this is the crux of one of the biggest issues facing our country today.

Neither side wants to do what is in the best interests of the citizen's of the United States....rather, they do what is best for their party, or their re-election chances.

Congress was never meant to be a career.

It's meant to be service, like any office. Hence the term "public servant."

It has always been different for democrats.

Yes you can bet that if Franken was a Republican Huffpo would have that picture of Franken with the tittie on the banner.

Funny enough, reminds me of "When you're a star, they let you do it!"

If you think Roy Moore should be expelled or forced to resign you have to make that same case for Franken IMHO.

Please. Gary Hart went down in,flames over his affair and Bill Clinton was impeached. It just seems that way because even non-political people get a little more into it when holy rolling republicans like Moore are the pervs.

Alabama should handle Moore, Minnesota Franken via election. The other guy was handled in that manner.
