    This. I would've voted for any decent candidate going against Trump.

    A large % of registered voters voted...but with a better candidate would an even greater % came out? Then again I feel those that didn't vote at all would've been heavy Trump supporters had they voted.

    The reason the polls were so far off was that people did not want to admit that they were voting for Trump, but realized that Clinton was a much more horrible person when it came down to it.

    And my main issue with today and social media, if you think they voted for Trump because they hate all women and not just THAT woman, you're a fucking moron. Republicans would vote for Nikki Haley in an instant.

    Let's just hope Trump does not issue Muslim bans or deportation squads like he said he would, cause he can do that without Congress.

    I hope, I really do, that Trump mellows out and does not listen to the crazies.

    The Executive Branch has grown in power since 1945 and let's hope we all can agree that that power should not be abused.

    Well, he was sued by the federal government for being racist.

    He also thinks Mexicans are rapists, and that a judge with Hispanic parents can't rule fairly.

    This says a lot about the Democratic Party to me. Your corrupt party (read: fucking over Bernie by rigging that primary to ignore your voters' wanted candidate to get your own candidate in) put up a corrupt candidate to go against a hotel company CEO and couldn't even win.

    Also, people need to chill the fuck out. The stock market was always going to drop today. The trends reflected that. The American economy wasn't booming. Hopefully trump can help get people working again and turn this garbage (read: your savings account interest rates) economy around.

    One more thing, I actually liked Trump's speech last night. He didn't sound like the Trump we've seen. Maybe he just played the crazy, sexist bigot to get elected and now he'll actually get to work on the country? Who knows. I'm rooting for him though. Love him or hate him, he is our president now and I'll be hoping he can make a positive difference.

    Yeah, market will bounce back, but not sure of the long term growth as it depends on what he does with trade agreements. If he threatens to pull out of them, that may lead to an increase in tariffs, and the cost of goods will rise. Hopefully, he does not do that and instead keeps the current trade deals once he figures out pulling out of them would hurt prices of everyday goods.

    He will be our President and I do hope he does maintain that rationality. I also hope he does not listen to the crazies and instead takes a moderate approach.

    I didn't watch it and I haven't heard it, but everything I have seen about it has been that it was very Democratic.

    Agree. He overcame everything to win. I honestly believe politics be less partisan. Dems and pubs will unite to impeach if he is cray.
