Trump vs. Hillary (NO OTHER OPTIONS)

SpockTHE republican party is in a huge change right now and Trump is that change. Its a party that is less about politics and more about the common person. I dont see how anyone would want to vote for a career politician regardless of the letter beside their name.

Also why wouldn't you vote for a career politician? -
Automatiklol...typical Trump rhetoric.

Yeah, basically taking a speech Trump gave and treating it like gospel (because when I think "common man", I think "silver spoon rich guy who inherited wealth"), much like "Hope and Change" and "Yes We Can" from eight years ago.Automatik;1803678 wrote:lol...typical Trump rhetoric. -
AutomatikIt's fucking nasueating.
My one friend, diehard Trump supporter...he's now an expert on military tactics based on Trump statements. It's absurd. Only 2 months ago I had to point out on a map the location of Syria. -
SportsAndLadySo trump asked Kasich to handle all domestic and foreign policy relationships as trumps VP and Kasich turned it down lol
So basically Trump just wants the title as president but wants everyone to come on his staff and do all of the actual work for him.
Good on Kasich for turning that down. -
AutomatikI've heard statements pertaining to that as well...
"It's fine if he's inexperienced!!! He'll surround himself with the best!!!" -
Spock
yea how did that work for Obama? At least Trump has executive experience and leadership capabilities. Who cares if its outside the DC beltway. Obama had no experience in anything and the people he put around him were picked by others (Geitner, Weiner etc....) the rest were like Holder, worthless idealog that played racial politics from the Fed.Automatik;1803682 wrote:I've heard statements pertaining to that as well...

Trump will surround himself with the people that are best for the country, not himself -
AutomatikSure he will.

Does that surprise you? Have you heard any specific policies coming from him other than The Wall? He doesn't know what he's doing. He says anything and everything and Republicans love him for it.SportsAndLady;1803681 wrote:So trump asked Kasich to handle all domestic and foreign policy relationships as trumps VP and Kasich turned it down lol

AutomatikBecause he said so!
Did you watch the 60 Min interview? -

because he has the experience of doing so. You dont get a $10 billion bank roll by being stupid or dealing with stupid people.Commander of Awesome;1803686 wrote:He will? Based on what exactly?

If you're trying to defend Trump, you really should try to do better than "meaningless tripe that sounds more like my personal wish list than anything based in fact". HOPE AND CHANGE! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! YES WE CAN!Spock;1803683 wrote:Trump will surround himself with the people that are best for the country, not himself
To me, that's over-simplifying things a bit. A lot of Rs don't particularly like him. I mean, a number of key party members (such as Ohio's own governor) are skipping the RNC and, on this site (which runs pretty far right in the grand scheme of things) there are a lot of conservative voices who are either against him or offering the most begrudging of support (ala: lesser of two evils). Trump seems to mainly get his support from pure party-line voters who only look at the letter next to the name, as well as the "THEY TOOK OUR JORBBBBBBBBBBSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!" crowd, who are up there with the "Obama gonna get me a new phone" crowd as far as stupidity goes.Commander of Awesome;1803685 wrote:He says anything and everything and Republicans love him for it. -

True, he is just following the same blue print as our current president, even to the fine detail where his wife is plagiarizing Obamas wife [emoji23].gut;1803697 wrote:Well....worked for Obama -

Hmmm...according to actual historical returns that anyone who takes 5 seconds to look up can find, the return is closer to 18X....both the article and your little meme appear to put it closer to 40X, probably because then they can't make claim they want to otherwise.Commander of Awesome;1803696 wrote:Actually he's a terrible business man:

"It worked" was sarcasm. And I thought it was widely acknowledged Obama only gives speeches and attends fundraisers.Commander of Awesome;1803698 wrote:It did? You're basing this on.....? -

Read it and weep, "Trump’s net worth has grown about 300% to an estimated $4 billion since 1987, according to a report by the Associated Press. But the real estate mogul would have made even more money if he had just invested in index funds. The AP says that, if Trump had invested in an index fund in 1988, his net worth would be as much as $13 billion."
I'll take 3 reputable sources and the fact that he's filed bankruptcy 4 times in the past ~20 yrs over your internet chest thumping without evidence.
