Who Said the Tea Party Movement Was Dead?

gutYeah, absolutely crushed. He had money, he had the name recognition...
Going to be funny watching liberals try to label an economics professor a financial terrorist. -
IggyPride00Oh, it's on now.
The Tea Party is going to be bringing the crazy big time now that establishment will be running scared of a primary challenge. If they can take out the #2 in the House, they can take out anyone.
Immigration reform is dead forever, probably along with any chance of Republicans winning the presidency anytime soon.
It is going to get wild in this country the next few years as this is the biggest scalp the Tea Party has ever claimed. -
QuakerOatsWhen the defenders of liberty and advocates for fiscal sanity are labeled by liberals as 'extremists', you can begin to understand the radically twisted mind of those wishing to dismantle the US capitalist economy. It will be interesting to see who ultimately wins this tussle: the marxists/collectivists/environmental radicals, or the freedom advocates who do all the providing.
-
gutNot that I disagree with Iggy, but David Brat had virtually no Tea Party support.
He's the only house majority leader ever to lose a primary challenge. -
gutLOL, David Brat basically saying God wanted him to win. Bill Maher just creamed himself.

Meh...C'mon he beat the #2 ranking RINO in the House 56% to 44%. But ok.ccrunner609;1624885 wrote:Just gave the dems a chance at another seat. They wouldn't of beat Cantor if he was running, this Brat guy can be beat by a dem -

Meh...C'mon he beat the #2 ranking RINO in the House 56% to 44%. So you're basically saying that conservatives have no shot at beating Dems?ccrunner609;1624885 wrote:Just gave the dems a chance at another seat. They wouldn't of beat Cantor if he was running, this Brat guy can be beat by a dem
Frankly it doesn't matter to me one way or the other. The thing that's stunning about "Brat guy's" victory is that he kicked Cantor's ass and only spent $200,000 to Cantor's millions to do it.
If Brat can defeat the #2 RINO in the House this easily and do this in an increasingly liberal (thanks to the DC suburbs) state like Virginia, then establishment Repubs had better start taking the Tea Party candidates a little more seriously. -

It's a pub district...they could nominate Daffy Duck and still win. The dem opponent is a Sociology prof at the same university where Brat teaches. All he has to do is avoid doing/saying something retarded and he'll win the general by the same margin.ccrunner609;1624885 wrote:Just gave the dems a chance at another seat. Not a chance. It is a republican district by +15, and turnout was huge. Book it in Nov.ccrunner609;1624885 wrote:Just gave the dems a chance at another seat. They wouldn't of beat Cantor if he was running, this Brat guy can be beat by a dem -

Sp the Repub is an Econ prof, and the Dem is sociology prof - doesn't that about some everything up?fish82;1624952 wrote:It's a pub district...they could nominate Daffy Duck and still win. This super zero combats the libs with the truth as he sees it
and fights for the American dream that is:
No Government intervention
Zero taxes
pregnant uneducated women
and the truth as he sees it,
And 2 black men in every garage.
It's conservative!
It's insane!
No, it's:

It is a GOOD Thing for those of us, who can, to take to every avenue available to us to express our Constitutional Right to freely speak. Many in today's world are not lawfully permitted to do as he, and you, are doing on this thread.
To denigrate someone for using a measly forum like the OC almost sounds like there is a fear that his message may resonate against your wishes. ...all while you are using that same measly forum to post your beliefs! -

They bring little to the discussion; they can only whine and moan about the information, links, thoughts and opinions that others bring to the table, and then accuse them of what they themselves do best. Easy to ignore.
