Disgusted with obama administration - Part II

  • gut
Well, the big question is...all the moderates and independents that voted for Obama, are they going to go to the polls in 2014 and give Dems control of the House and Senate?

Pretty abysmal start to Obama's 2nd term. He got a small tax increase pushed through and then it's been all downhill from there.

As long as the checks show up in the mail, Obama could go on national TV and kill kids left and right and no one would give a shit. Black people will support him no matter what he does, the left have to support him, his is their mesiah. They have thrown all in, they can't back out now.

It might lend some credence to those who believe Obama is being obstructionist and perpetually campaigning for 2014 so he can ramrod more of his socialist agenda. But ultimately I think that's giving the empty suit to much credit. My opinion is that Obama doesn't know how to lead, and isn't interested in it any way. When he's not being obtuse or hands-off ("I didn't know"), he appears to seek to disqualify himself from the debate by taking an uncompromising position.

Increasingly I think he's trying to carve for himself a Slick Willy-type path where remaining popular is priority #1, maybe the only priority, so he can remain relevant and popular and influential after leaving office. Taking responsibility for tough choices and taking tough actions is a big gamble for that, and apparently not something Obama is willing to risk.
That assumes that he is in actually in charge. It seems "the liberal/socialist agenda" runs itself with him being just the front man using his popularity to sell it to the adoring throngs. Is he in charge of anything? Fast and Furious? Benghazi? AP? IRS? While departmentsin his administration run amok...He acts sometimes like he doesn't have the authority.

One obama-voting dem just said to another obama-voting dem: "You see Bachman is getting investigated for criminal charges by the FBI? She's corrupt as it gets."

He is fully in charge. Obama is no dummy. If you take gut's take that at the least he has insulated himself by appointing leaders of his administration that are strict ideological loyalists that fully understand political ramifications and have judgement as to what should not get reported to the president in order to give him "deniability". You have to assume that there is some level of strong "management" to deny accountability at the highest levels of the administration.

At the institutional level it does not run itself. Its directed and fed by leadership. Low level government employees rarely would risk going "rouge" for their own political personal agenda and put at risk their personal livelihood. Which for government employees is quite cushy. The scale smarts of institutional corruption orchestrated by leadership.

Sound of the Republican party imploding over fake scandals?
But it was not until a month later that it became clear that the CIA, rather than the State Department, maintained the most significant presence in Benghazi. Near the diplomatic outpost was a CIA installation where about two dozen intelligence and security personnel were based. Their mission was to track weapons shipments out of the country and to identify the numerous militias operating in Benghazi. Security at this annex was the responsibility of the CIA, not the State Department. But because the annex operated under diplomatic cover, its existence as an intelligence facility was classified.
After Petraeus’s morning coffee on Sept. 14, the CIA’s Office of Terrorism Analysis sent an internal agency e-mail with the subject line: “FLASH coordination — white paper for HPSCI,” referring to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.

The committee “has asked for unclassified points immediately that they can use in talking to the media,” the e-mail said.
Included was a six-point draft that began, “We believe based on currently available information that the attacks in Benghazi were spontaneously inspired” by anti-American demonstrations elsewhere “and evolved” into assaults against “the U.S. consulate and subsequently its annex.”
It followed with a reference to previous attacks against foreign interests in Benghazi and a mention of Ansar al-Sharia, a terrorist organization with links to al-Qaeda. That information, put in at Petraeus’s request, would become the chief source of tension between the agency, the State Department and the FBI.
Guess who is on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence? http://intelligence.house.gov/about/hpsci-majority-members plus John Boehner.

Now this is funny, The Republican led Select Committee makes a request of the CIA Director, he honors the request and then the House investigates the results of that request as if they had nothing to do with the request. Full on idiots. The House committee wants to protect sources and methods with limited release of information in the first days after Benghazi but then investigate "talking points" that comply with the request.

You're Ok with Obama Administration, fraud, corruption, lies and the present condition of the country and the future bleak prosperity of your children and grand children .... I guess if you live on entitlement long enough you lower your standard to the leadership level ...

It's no doubt that some of those were absolutely ridiculous (e.g. birth certificate) and weren't taken seriously by anybody with common sense.

That being said, do you not see that the extremity of your posts toward the extreme-left indicate that you have same type of distortions, irrationality, and lack of perspective as those you mock on the extreme right?

    This....and reps.

But looking at the list, and considering the latest AP and IRS scandals, there is more than a few on there that a person with common sense could objectively question whether this is the kind of behavior one would expect from the POTUS and his senior staff.

    Unrestrained?
So, I guess Congress does not exist?
In order to have unrestrained power, the Obama administration would have to have free reign over all, and no checks and balances. Yet, we are seeing now, they do not have that reign.
    Therefore, it is not tyranny.
You just like to throw around the words to suite your own worldview.

That said, the hearings today were a joke.
And, this administration has lost its way and message.

Reading is hard when you are spinning that fast.

^^ I could give a rats arse about their 'message'. Where the he!! is leadership amid tough times.

    NONEXISTENT.

obama talks so often nowadays about how he "will not tolerate" so much of what is going. Well, "will not tolerate" speech does not equal true leadership. He is a colossal fail. He may even be worse than that, and that I do suspect.

So Obama will order Holder to review the DOJ policies with respect to journalists. Isn't that kind of like having the fox count your hens?
