The Hyperbolic Smearing of the President

gosh a ruddies gut, it takes time to undue the damage of thirty plus years of deregulation and tax cuts for the rich, plus the mismanagement of two wars. Our African American President has us on the correct path. Hopefully with the support of the decent portion of the American electorate he will have a second term to continue his misson.gut;1313641 wrote:No we aren't. elitesmithie05Isadore...its been 8% his whole term. His policies blow. Ill make the same offer I did to Ty Webb. If Romney wins, you leave for 3 months, if Obama does, I will. Deal?

Truth be told, people like Isadore secretly hope Romney wins because they relish playing the role of victim, real or imagined.elitesmithie05;1313667 wrote:Isadore...its been 8% his whole term. gosh a ruddies what do we see a horrendous unemployment situation created by Bush then Obama being able to stop the slide and then improve the situation.elitesmithie05;1313667 wrote:Isadore...its been 8% his whole term. Note from your chart it pretty much peaked when Obama took office. The crisis was over. What Obama managed to do was squash the recovery.isadore;1313684 wrote:gosh a ruddies what do we see a horrendous unemployment situation created by Bush then Obama being able to stop the slide and then improve the situation.
And what little progress he made is deceptive due to how many people have quit looking for work and dropped out of the workforce. There's been no progress on real employment. -

sorry gut, I care about our country and so I hope our African American President can continue to make our nation a better place.gut;1313676 wrote:Truth be told, people like Isadore secretly hope Romney wins because they relish playing the role of victim, real or imagined. -

You're living in the bubble. By nearly every objective measure, things are no better than when he took office. Coming off such a deep recession that IS an accomplishment but not one to be proud of.isadore;1313688 wrote:sorry gut, I care about our country and so I hope our African American President can continue to make our nation a better place. -

no that is not what is there. That horrendous fall caused by Bush polices was so bad it continued through 2009 into 2010 when President Obama turned it around.gut;1313685 wrote:Note from your chart it pretty much peaked when Obama took office. Other than, no, we bottomed shortly after 2012 and the community agitator (calling him an organizer is obviously giving too much credit) hasn't turned anything around....Other than that, I agree with the period at the end of your post.isadore;1313696 wrote:no that is not what is there. the fall of the economy was not turned around the moment he took office, the fall caused by Bush policies took over a year to stop.gut;1313695 wrote:You're living in the bubble. obviously you can write whatever you want even if your statements are obviously not reflective of the facts. you are entitled to your fantasies.gut;1313698 wrote:Other than, no, we bottomed shortly after 2012 and the community agitator (calling him an organizer is obviously giving too much credit) hasn't turned anything around....Other than that, I agree with the period at the end of your post. -

No they didn't. With TARP and the auto-bailout, and then stimulus, the economy was fully stabilized. Growth should have been a given. And that's why Obama turned from the economy to Obamakare and other pet projects. The problem is his anti-business agenda threw the breaks on what should have been a slam-dunk of a recovery.isadore;1313700 wrote:the fall of the economy was not turned around the moment he took office, the fall caused by Bush policies took over a year to stop. -

I'm not the one living in a fantasy world. You keep making excuses and distorting the facts to prop-up a POTUS that, for some reason, you need to keep mentioning is African American.isadore;1313706 wrote:obviously you can write whatever you want even if your statements are obviously not reflective of the facts. you are entitled to your fantasies.
Why do you do that? Am I to expect less because Obama is black?!? -

Our African American President has been forced to struggle against an opposition party motivated not just by partisanship but racism and funded in their efforts by self serving corporate and plutocratic wealthgut;1313711 wrote:I'm not the one living in a fantasy world. So you're saying his failures are because he's black? You're a racist.isadore;1313717 wrote:Our African American President has been forced to struggle against an opposition party motivated not just by partisanship but racism and funded in their efforts by self serving corporate and plutocratic wealth -

We are about to drive off the fiscal cliff and enter another recession because of his complete failings as president. On top of that he has saddled every family of 4 with an additional $68,000 in obama debt in just 4 years. Please add that to your family's personal balance sheet along with their declining home value and decreased incomes and tell me again how we are truly "rebounding"!isadore;1313561 wrote:we are rebounding economically thanks to the efforts of our African American President.

The blue line represents the civilian labor force participation rate and the Red line is the unemployment rate. Correlate much? -
TedSheckler^^^That's racist.

wrong so wrong.gut;1313471 wrote:Don't worry, Isadore, Obama will only have to put up with this for about 3 more months. Unless, I suppose, Romney takes a cue from him and spends the next 4 years blaming his predecessor.
