Governor Kasich

I hope they ditch those amendments, too. I want accountability for all public funding and especially in education.

If you truly believe your way is best, why are you allowing hundreds of companies and organizations to opt out?

I completely agree with that statement. What cuts has Kasich made to save money with the governor's staff?

His overall budget is less than Strickland's but this "issue" is laughably petty, in my view.

Kasich's most important job at this point in time is to bring the budget in with a deficit, as required by law. He's doing that, so far as we can tell.

So it is petty if Kasich hooks up his friends and poor leadership when Obama hooks up his friends?
  • Writerbuckeye
If by "hooks up his friends" you mean hires people in his campaign and long-time associates -- well DAMN IT ALL TO HELL, you mean a politician actually hired people he's familiar with and trusts instead of just hiring Joe Blow off the street? THE HELL YOU SAY.

As for Obama...you want my views on his poor leadership at various things, simply do a search and look up my posts. It's not part of this topic.
  • I Wear Pants
I agree it's off topic but I think the reason things like that are always brought up is because of some on the right tryin to make literally everything Obama does look like the worst thing ever. Not that he is always perfect or good or doesn't do a bunch of stupid or bad things. But it's the crying wolf thing. Eventually if the right wants me to get outraged at everything when many times after looking into it it truly isn't a big deal at all it becomes hard for some to take anything they say to heart.

Point being, both sides should STFU about the stuff that doesn't matter at all and focus on issues that they actually disagree with rather than ones they think can make the other dude/side look bad.

For instance, everyone shut up about Kasich's staff being paid more. It's overall less because he hired less staff. Not an issue.

We requested these offer letters from the Ohio Department of Development, along with the out-of-state offer letter for Bob Evans. The DOD was quick to respond and provided the two letters included below. But they also informed us:

“we have no record of any offer letters provided to us by Bob Evans.”
So Bob Evans really did not plan moving out of state at all. Nice call. The truth come out eventually.

Oh my God...Bob Evans used the system to get a better deal, just like hundreds (thousands?) of other companies have done.

    The HELL you say.

    Flog them. Flog them all.

Not only does he provide a link to this abortion, he lies about what it does not say. The only thing with less credibility than that idiot log is the bigdogg.

Why is that writerfakebuckeye, because you don't like it? Like I said before prove one thing I have posted from there that has not been true and I will never post on this forum again. This IS an opinion forum is it not? I assumed I was free to post mine.

Is that your blog on the prior page? If so this: "Bob Evans was planning to move to Texas even though they have no restaurants in Texas " is not true. There might not be any actual Bob Evans, but there are Mimi's in Texas. Plus it is obvious from their annual report that they are continuing to move their manufacturing toTexas - I don't know how serious they are about relocating their corporate office, but it is obvious they are looking to expand into a market where the economy is, you know, not godawful like it is in Ohio.

I'd say this suffices as proof. I'll look forward to not seeing you post on this forum again, doggie.

The fact is they had no offer or any incentive to leave Ohio and Kasich gave them millions of taxpayers dollars. I am sure you would love not to hear about the bungling, incompetent, jack ass, temporarily inhabiting the state house, I mean his private home, but to bad. The thing I have noticed about that particular site is I keep reading tomorrow's headlines today. Started with the illegal appointments made to Kasich's cabinet, and most recently his removal as the chairman and director of robsohio. Pretty good record for a "hack blog" I do say.

Blah, blah, blah. You got caught in a lie, and don't have the integrity to follow through on your promise to GTFO, Bigdogg Weiner.

and a representative from Bob Evans told Columbus Mayor Mike Coleman that they “had no intention of leaving the state of Ohio.”
You did not even read the article. Here is another source.

So your argument is based on a hearsay conversation from a lackey of the Democrat mayor. Solid.

Is it safe to assume that you have no intention on following through on your promise then?

Article stated there is no Bob Evans restaurants in Texas. Article quoted DOD spokesperson no offer from any other state. Both are true. Don't you have dance class to go to today fish?

The article is wrong, as the company owns eleven restaurants in Texas. The fact that they don't fly the BE banner is irrelevant. That's just a swing & miss...no way around that.

And it's no written offer...not "no offer." Kinda different.

I have a meeting of my fake non-profit at 7:30. You're more than welcome to attend.

Baldfaced lie. It said "even though they have no restaurants in Texas". They do. A couple hundred more lies, and you'll be in "Footwedge" territory.

This. The key wording was "no restaurants" -- not no BOB EVANS restaurants.

You set the standard by what YOU posted -- now uphold your promise and leave the site. Not that you had any to begin with, but this pretty much ices the fact that you have zero credibility AND integrity.
