  One, she was forcefully restrained, and i would have the exact same opinion if some Tea Party member ran up all crazy like to the President and he got forcefully restrained.   It has to do with the people vs. the ruling elites. You see, none of what was passed by the elites was wanted by the people. Not TARP, not corporate bailouts, not porkulus, not Cap-N-Tax, and certainly not ObamaKare as it is written. The elites have thumbed their noses at the people and now it's time to thumb them the F out. These a-holes that truly believe they know what is best for all Americans because of their blood-lust for power and authority over everyone, are going to feel the wrath of what they have wrought. The polling is clear...bailouts are a stinker, ObamaKare is heavily favored for repeal/rewriting, Cap-N-Tax is as dead as could be with the public, and although TARP is a Republican generated boondoggle, it is fully supported by the elites in DC, and most Americans are in favor of NOT SPENDING MORE MONEY.   To answer your Q, yes, I believe the elites in Washington will do anything necessary to make Americans more reliant and dependent on the federal government for all needs...from light bulbs to what food to eat to Death Panels to decide when grandma has had a good life and her time is through. They are all on a power and control trip, to make us all dependent on whatever manna they can provide to the masses...for without them, we are all lost and too freaking stupid to decide what to do with our own lives. They know best for all of us. Sheeple? That's what Harry thinks we are all...stupid, dumb, ignorant sheep that couldn't live, breathe, or exist without his divine guidance. How in the hell can we ever live without him and his kind?

  I do agree about the lightbulbs though. Tax breaks or discounts for the more efficient bulbs would be a better solution than mandating the extinction of incandescents.
