    Exactly what I am believing.

    The idiots have the rights to be idiots.

    However, if I was that family I might have kicked the snot out of a few of them, got arrested and plead "temporary insanity" due to the hate speech. I would also like to sit on that jury :).

    Let's see...a woman comes screaming up to a politician waving her arms and acting irrationally. Oh...yeah, you are right, they should have bulldozed an opening to Rand Paul so that she could verbally assault him and shove contrived bullshit in his face. I'll turn it around on you...if Strickland is getting out of his car and some idiot comes racing up yellling garbage and waving their arms, then his "secret service" should rightfully take that person down, handcuff them, and haul their ass to jail. She behaved like a fool and got treated like one. BTW...she wasn't hurt and escaped prosecution. Sounds like she got off pretty good to me for acting like such an ingrate.

    So your defending those normal supporters (not campaign people) BEATING her because she ran up to Paul to ask him a question?? Not a surpise with your track record here BG. And you guys wonder why alot of people sterotype Republicans as intolerant,no-nothing pricks?? You defending this calling here an ingrate for expressing here first-admendment right shows you are a no-nothing prick with no integrity and I am ashamed to post on the same message board as you!

    She acted extremely foolish and if she shot him, would you have been "surprised"? Who knew she didn't have a gun or weapon? She wasn't beaten. She had no injuries. If someone rushes Obama like that, how many broken bones would they get? Is that any different just beause he's POTUS and Paul isn't? Paul has no real security force and those around him thought he was being phsyically threatened. People had tenths of seconds to react and chose to keep her away rather than let her get any closer. I'll say it again...no injuries. What about the Tea Party guy in St. Louis last year that had his nose broken and he was kicked and beaten. I don't remember you on here extolling that as extravagant. He probably deserved it because he was with the Tea Party, eh?

    I was just going by the original account of the ordeal in the early news reporting. Seems now she has some swelling. I didn't know that before, so yeah, she has a right to not be beaten up, but she had NO RIGHT to act the way she did. I wrote that she wasn't hurt so she got what she deserved. Now that other facts are coming out, then yes, she has a case. Here's the link to the follow up story.     You should also note that in the story the people in the crowd were concerned this woman would cause trouble and the police looked the other way. That's sad that they can't do the job they are paid to do, isn't it?

    With today's automatic handguns, I would imagine a 50 lb child could pull a trigger. Size don't matter much when you're packin.     There are many from the Left losing their senses this week. More goofiness to follow as the week moves along. In a way...it makes me grin to see people losing their cool...it shows desperation that they are about to be over-ruled by, "We the People".

    I understand where you're coming from, but i am so fucking tired of seeing this line. Who exactly are "we the people?" Only those on the right? Are those on the left not "we the people," and therefore something else, maybe even, something "un-American?" Are only those on the right allowed to use that hallowed phrase. So confused. I always thought "we the people" was representative of all Americans, so i don't know how all Americans can be "over-ruled," as you say, by Americans. Oh well.

    And, if you think it is only the left "losing their senses" at the moment, than you're not paying attention. People are quite tense on both sides, i can see that quite clearly following things from freaking New Zealand.

    Hell, the EXACT incident being discussed demonstrates both the LEFT and the RIGHT losing their senses.

    This hyper-partisanship, seen on both sides, at the moment, is honestly disgusting. People willfully ignoring facts and common sense, on the right and the left, because it fits in with what they want to believe, not reality.
