Who are democrats electing?
-
iclfan2How on earth are democrats electing these morons. I'm not sure if this was on here before, but you got Hank Johnson afraid that Guam will capsize (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zNZczIgVXjg) and then you got Alvin Greene just sucking at life (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDb7l0AAvUY). How on earth do these people get voted for? It makes me wonder who the constituents voting for these men are. I know both stories are old, but I never saw either of these videos on here. I used the search and didn't see anything, so I apologize if they are repeats.
-
CenterBHSFanAlvin Greene. That interview was just acutely painful to watch. I was hoping that the newscaster would get fed up with him and be a smartass (moreso than he was - "are you impaired right now?" lmao)
This is a great example of what I've been bemoaning for a long time in regards to the democrat party. This is the sort of people that "democrats" (using the term loosely here) are putting up in office.
- Alvin Greene
- Nancy Pelosi
- Barrack Obama; only he's whacko in another sort of way
- and so on and so on
What has become of this party? What has become of the democratic voters?
I've got to call out every single democratic voter here and ask what the hell is wrong with us? We vote in imbeciles like Charlie Wilson and Ted Strickland. We vote in bumbling idiots like Alvin Greene. We vote in horrific savants like Nancy Pelosi. We vote in outright liars like Barney Frank. We vote in guttersnipe-lovers like Obama.
Why? What, exactly, does that say about our own intelligence? It's not anything I'm thrilled about, much less proud of.
We've got to clean up our act folks, it's getting bad. Real BAD.
If this kind of insipid moreass is the best we can do, well then we deserve everything that's handed to us. Everything!
And we wonder why we push and pull politics so far in one direction that we end up with folks like Bush. We deserved Bush. We couldn't do better before, and we're sure as hell ain't doing better now.
It's our own damn fault.
Better get busy! -
WriterbuckeyeThere's a simple answer to your question, center: power.
It all comes down to getting enough of these folks in power so a particular agenda can be achieved. What is that agenda? Well, look no further than Obama and Pelosi to see the worst of it: huge government programs that do one basic thing: they get people dependent on government services of some kind.
When you have enough of the populace dependent on those government programs, your party will keep getting elected because somebody has to protect those programs from being dismantled. -
Ty WebbCenter....you are a damn idiot if you think that President Obama is a "whacko"

You sit in Jeremiah Wright's church of the poisoned mind for 20 years and then tell me that you don't have issues! -
Ty WebbThat doesn't make him a "whacko"...just bad decision making
Please explain to me how he is a "whacko" -
CenterBHSFanWell, let's see. Lemme borrow one of your taglines, alright?
You're an idiot if you don't see how sitting in J.W.'s church for 20 years doesn't make you a whacko!
(should we give Obama credit for after the public found out what went on in that "church" that Obama threw Wright under the bus faster than a classroom of first graders drinking a gallon of koolaid?) + (that means that he wholeheartedly believed and bought into Wright's spewage or else he would have found another church)
or
If you don't see how hiring a nut like Van Jones doesn't makes you a whacko I feel sorry for you!
(actually, this is one of the weaker reasons that belong somewhere towards the bottom of the list of many)
or how'bout
If you think that after Cheron vomitted forth a bunch of garbage about America/Americans while Obama nutted up and didn't respond and that makes Obama either a whacko, a negligent chickenshit or a freakin whacko... well then you're right! -
Little DannyAnd then there is this genius. Rep. Johnson was giving "charitable donations" for scholarships to her grandkids. Tried to claim grandchildren does not count as "immediate family members".

Jeremiah Wright and what he preached appealed to Obama on many levels. Enough to keep him coming back and coming back for 20 friggen years.
Wright preached racist, bigoted hate.
Phelps preaches racist bigoted hate.
= WHACKO'S
Who follows whackos besides psychiatrists and other whacko's?
You don't make the same bad decisions for 20 years unless there is something inherently wrong with you or you have an addiction.
Which is it? -
CinciX12I've never seen the term 'whacko' get argued over so vehemently before this thread. Quite an interesting read lol. Center, arguing with idiots isn't good for your blood pressure.
-
Mr. 300Love watching Ty webb get bitch slapped.

cbus4lifeThe democrats definitely don't have a monopoly on this.
I can look up and down both sides of the aisle and i just have to laugh at what i see. I don't care whether you're a democrat or republican. -

True....from a conservative's point of view I'll give you John Boehner as an example.cbus4life;470204 wrote:The democrats definitely don't have a monopoly on this.

I sincerely hope that if the Repubs reclaim the House that GOP "leadership" will find a way to keep him from becoming Speaker. I'm convinced he and Nancy Pelosi are cousins. -

It's ok Cinci, I never really got worked up. I enjoy Gibby too much to let that happen!CinciX12;470164 wrote:I've never seen the term 'whacko' get argued over so vehemently before this thread. Quite an interesting read lol. Center, arguing with idiots isn't good for your blood pressure. -

Somebody should start a thread about them then -
BGFalcons82Back to the topic, I heard today that the Dems are leaving the Obama bus behind in that Tim Kaine, the DNC leader, is supporting Rep Connolly, who is saying the Bush tax cuts should be extended for all taxpayers, including the evil scum satanic rich. I suppose it was inevitable that Democrat Representatives will attempt to put miles between themselves and Barry Obama. It's how Mark Critz won the special election this Spring in Murtha's Pennsylvania district. These socialist elites are going to hope, pray, and bank on the electorate being stupid, ignorant, and Democrat lap-dogs in order to pull this strategy off. Actually, it's all they can do, based on their voting records that they will try to obliterate and esponge from their own record.
I have a feeling Americans are just a tad smarter than the socialist elites give them credit for. -

It's kinda hard for me to be bitch slapped when I'm right 300...but I wouldn't expect you to understand that
I honestly don't understand how anyone could describe President Obama as a whacko unless they:
1.Are extremely unintelligent
2.Have had something againist him since the beginning and never gave him a chance
Let's see if you all can understand this:
Van Jones-Whacko
Rush Limbaugh-Whacko
President Obama-Not a whacko
Also...for those of you who like to call us socialists...please understand the meaning and how to use it before you do -
BGFalcons82Ty Webb;472079 wrote:Also...for those of you who like to call us socialists...please understand the meaning and how to use it before you do
I will continue to use the word to describe those that espouse government-directed businesses, government-directed health care, government-directed "private-public" partnerships, and anyone that believes government is responsible to bailout certain industries, OWN car companies, extort banks, extort financial services companies, and delenquently oversee mortgage owners like Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. -
Ty WebbThank you for proving my point BG

BGFalcons82Ty Webb;472097 wrote:Thank you for proving my point BG
Just had to make me go to google, didn't ya? Couldn't leave well enough alone. I know Progressives/Liberals/Leftists/statists hate the word, but really...you should be more positive about what you believe instead of hiding. OK...here's wikipedia:
Socialism is an economic and political theory advocating public or common ownership and cooperative management of the means of production and allocation of resources.[1][2][3] SEE GM, FANNIE MAE, FREDDIE MAC FOR PRIME EXAMPLES.
In a socialist economic system, production is carried out by a free association of workers to directly maximize use-values (instead of indirectly producing use-value through maximizing exchange-values), through coordinated planning of investment decisions, distribution of surplus, and the means of production. Socialism is a set of social and economic arrangements based on a post-monetary system of calculation, such as labour time, energy units or calculation-in-kind; at least for the factors of production.[4] -Did you know that the socialists passed a 2000 page bill earlier this year wherein the government is now directing the health care industry that fits this to a "T"?
Why am I arguing with you? Stand up for what you believe in and don't deny what you want for this country. Be proud of who you are and how you feel this country should proceed. Don't be a denier of your beliefs. I'll have more respect for you if you admit you believe the government is necessary in all facets of our lives and should be in charge at every turn because we Americans are too stupid to make decisions for ourselves. -
Ty WebbI am proud of what I believe in...and what our President believes in and that isn't socialism you nitwit
-

It's OK, I didn't think you could do it, either.
Nitwit, eh? Have to go there, huh? Thanks for the discussion until you lost control of your fingers. Night. -
CenterBHSFanPresident Obama believes in Jeremiah Wright, too. Perhaps there wasn't any other church around?
I believe that Obama believes in a slightly bastardized version of socialism. Stirred, not shaken. I also think he believes in some Marxism poured in also. With just a splash (wave the bottle over the glass) of capitalism.
Cheers! -
