Puerto Rico our 51st State ....why?

  I'm as conservative as they come. In my 9 years of military experience I served along side many Puerto Ricans who were no less American or patriotic than anyone else with whom I served.
  
  If PR wants statehood so be it; I'm all for it and it matters not if they are brown, black or liberal tutti-fruity.

  I would say you could make the same assumption on how the people of California, New York, Rhode Island, or Delaware for example vote. They all bring a democrat majority as their federal representation in congress. All majority "white people".

  All had differing opinions on this thread. The house did as well. In fact the republican leadership was split in this bill as well. Read the Fox article.
