Hey guys! I am not talking smack here... hahaha
Demas is the best in the state. No one is trying to question that one. I was just throwing one out there for those of you in the central who may have not seen some of the Dayton kids go. Ramsey is pretty solid and has a mean streak. I was just saying it might be a match you all want to watch. I was not predicting a win. Just hoping for a good one.

I know you weren't meaning any hostility Dayton801. I was just joking around too. I hope it is a good match, but i'm just going to say it now and say that demas will most likely beat everyone by 8-10 points. I could be wrong but I don't think I will be. Good luck to your boys this weekend Dayton and have a safe drive.

I kid. Because I know of 3 matches that MUST take place before it can happen. You can't go 4 and 0 or even 3 and 1 if you don't go 1 and 0 first. All week we've preached match #1. We've talked about the change of routine; the getting out of school early, midday weigh-ins, the "District" atmosphere, etc...

All the things that must be blocked out in order to be ready to go when the whistle blows.

Good luck to everyone involved, especially the Cruisers and any wrestler I had the pleasure of meeting and working with this summer. That even goes for the DII and DIII types. Give'm heck, boys.
God you are a motivator! The hairs on the back of my neck are standing up! OOOOOHHHHHHH It's here.......it's finally freakin here!! YES!!!

My brother has not sat down since he walked in this morning at 7:02am!

Good luck to all wrestlers and coaches this weekend!
Hope you all stay healthy and controversy free.

Cruiser, see you in the hospitality room then hopefully at Oties![/align]

I love the idea. I'm already hungry. And now, after showing him the coveted "list", he is too!

    See you soon.

Thanks for the well-wishes. Heading out of the office now and on the way. Best of luck to all you central guys.

Zach "Cock-Diesel" Thompson (the best kept secret in the central district) rolls over Springboro's Matt Freed in the first round 10-1!

wow...that was a bit of a stunner...i was expecting an extremely tight match with Thompson coming out on the losing end...if he can beat Luft in the quarters he has a great chance to face Wray in the final...

Well, "Cock-Diesel" was just pinned by Luft, so you'll have to see if he can fight his way back through.

i didnt figure he would beat luft...but then again...i figured Luft and Freed would be tough...so i didnt bank on a pin...
and after weigh-outs tonight he will be huge tomorow...so i look for him to wresle back tough...

yeah, it was a great match for thompson, id say more or less a wake up call for luft that there are no easy matches at this level, even for a wrestler of his caliber, was a great match for thompson, really showed everyone that he isnt somone to be taken lightly

    Someone Give me some Love!!!!!!
Ramsey vs. Demas was close. Riegle comes through. Come on!!!!

    Dayton801: Love +1
  • oldcoach3
Outstanding wrestling..great crowd...officiating was poor to say the least,Strope from Lancaster was robbed!! Threre were officials that wouldnt have made a stalling call if their lifes depended on it. Calls came late so many times on rewarding points, saw alot of confusion between the officials on each mat.

Boyd from MF. is so enjoyable to watch.McComb from MVille is an absolute machine and the Monarchs have a fantastic team.Good luck to all the Central Districts boys, their teams and fans. It's STATE TIME... the greatest high school wrestling tourney in the country!!!
  • USMCdevil05
Officials were bad. Very inconsistant calls, and alot of them let coachs talk them out of their calls!

    Dayton801,
It was a good match between Demas and Ramsey, Demas was sick as a dog all weekend though, wish we could have seen him healthy, not taking anything away from Ramsey, he wrestled tough and held his own. Riegle wrestled his butt off! I was very shocked about the results. What was the score when they wrestled at sectionals?
  • USMCdevil05
Bailey from Groveport looked GREAT! If he wrestles like that next week, we very well could see a rematch again in the finals! Neiman brothers......Get you suits pressed and dry cleaned! Put it in the garment bag and bring that bad boy to the Schott with you! I think you might need it!
  • oldcoach3
Bailey with a first round win faces Wheeler from Copley 50-0, wow! USMC to say they were bad, you're being kind.
