D1 Darby District Predictions!!!!!!
-
Varsityfan32yeah just wondering what makes you think the result is going to be different this time ?
-
cruiser_961st: The score was 5-0
2nd: THERE ARE NO SEEDS AT THE DISTRICT TOURNAMENT!!! -
DuckmeAs i look at ouzts draw, hes got the best set up out of anybody in the tourny at 130
-
bravesman
Very tough kid, but at any moment he could loose his cool and tell a ref where to stick it and get booted from the tourney...Duckme wrote: As i look at ouzts draw, hes got the best set up out of anybody in the tourny at 130 -
lowsingle174USMC, nice Job on the rankings and prognostication. You are correct, it stirrs up a lot of discussion and gives everyone something to look forward to!!
The Boyd Strope match was 5-0. It was a good match. I hope to see it again. -
USMCdevil05
Sorry folks I thought it was 3-0. My bad. Outzs does have a good draw, and it's like I said if he wins his quarter finals match against Riley then he will have a great shot at qualifying, but if he loses then he will cross bracket with Taylor more than likely and have to face him in the conso quarters, I cant remember if they wrestled last weekend or not, if he wins he will have either Kunzi or Shivener in the "go to" macth, and I don't he is on there level of wrestling.lowsingle174 wrote: USMC, nice Job on the rankings and prognostication. I am so excited! 1 more day! WOO HOO! -
CthelitesI predict that the hospitality room will be the best ever!
Enjoy it! -
DuckmeIf taylor loses in the quarters, how do you think he will respond to getting kunzi in a rematch in the conso semis? So many fun questions!!!! and yes 1 day till the action and the mayham starts!!
-
lowsingle174LOL, no hostility on the boyd score. It was reported as 3-0 in the paper. It was actually 5-0....
That is old news though!! -
USMCdevil05Hospitality room will be awesome!
I think if Taylor and Kunzi rematch in the conso semis Kunzi will win, but I think it will be a closer match than last week. -
allwrappedupits not like last week for taylor and kunzi wasnt close, it was i believe tied 4-4 and taylor just got caught, and trust me with this much on the line i highly doubt he will get caught again..
-
USMCdevil05I agree and yes it was close. I should have worded it better. He will not get caught this week, he did get caught last week and I believe it willl be cllose. He is a tough kid and could push Kunzi to his limits, but I still think Kunzi will win. Hope he can prove me wrong though.
-
Tony Meadi predict kunzi not to be in the conso's (o:
-
USMCdevil05I don't think he can beat Shivener in the semis. I would like to see him beat him but I don't see it happening.
-
Tony Meadi cant wait! but like said in previous post, one match atta time!
-
JAKAOutz and Taylor did wrestle last weekend, Taylor tech falled him.
-
USMCdevil05Thanks for the info. I could't remember, maybe it's when I was screaming at a crappy referee! lol

overtime
They are in a different league. I predictromulus wrote: I say Martyn gets ouy at 171 I know he has to beat either Bailey or Ferguson, I just have a feeling hes gonna pull it off.
Bailey and Ferguson win easily if Martyn gets that far. I believe he will have a tough time with his second match. -
Dayton801
I will take Riegle over Luft in the Semi. Fayette is the top dog here, no doubt, but I think Riegle is closer than some might think. Fayette/Riegle final, Fayette by 4. Luft and Howes round out the group.USMCdevil05 wrote: 135.
1. Fayette MB
2. Tr. Luft TV
3. Riegle SB
4. Howes PN
Fayette is on a whole different universe here ... Luft beating Riegle... -
Dayton801
Sorry, but Shivener is on a mission. I saw him Destroy Walker from Northmont at GWOC. OK, Destroy may be a little strong, but dominate...Tony Mead wrote: i predict kunzi not to be in the conso's (o: -

Schearer of Piqua is pretty strong. Ramsey of Springboro is on a huge roll and the only reason Schearer is coming in as a 2. I think Martyn drops two, both to Dayton kids. Schearer in the 2nd and Ramsey in his go to. Schearer drops one to Ferguson in the go to, but will be tight.overtime wrote:

I'm looking forward to the Ramsey/Demas Semi. Call me crazy.. Yes, I am a dayton supporter, but I am telling you, do NOT go get a coke during this one. -
USMCdevil05Demas is on a way different level than any other kid in the whole state right now. Other than Sulzer of Ed's. I don't think anyone comes within 8 points of him here. Call me crazy, and yes I am a central district supporter, but this kid is good! I mean Good!

Bitterrunner-up
Absolutely. If you get a coke you may miss one of the several duck-unders that Demas will hit on Ramsey. Come to think of it, you can stay in your seat, keep your eyes on the mat and still miss one of Demas' ducks. When you blink, he'll be behind him...it's that fast.Dayton801 wrote:I'm looking forward to the Ramsey/Demas Semi. Call me crazy.. I'm sure Ramsey is a fine wrestler, but Demas is just that good.

zambrownYou got that right, Bitter! He is truly amazing to watch. I don't see anyone even getting close with him.
-
cruiser_96Pepsi challenge accepted!
I kid. Because I know of 3 matches that MUST take place before it can happen. You can't go 4 and 0 or even 3 and 1 if you don't go 1 and 0 first. All week we've preached match #1. We've talked about the change of routine; the getting out of school early, midday weigh-ins, the "District" atmosphere, etc...
All the things that must be blocked out in order to be ready to go when the whistle blows.
Good luck to everyone involved, especially the Cruisers and any wrestler I had the pleasure of meeting and working with this summer. That even goes for the DII and DIII types. Give'm heck, boys.
