DirtyscrambleWho's gonna win best dressed this year now that Former Champ CVG Has Transferred else where?
-
cruiser_96Derek Oney. Obviously!
Actually, watch out for Brendan Moody (Hilliard Darby). Using his own team's words, he has "fresh" gear. Will he sport the power tie? Will he rock the white and Darby blue shoes??? The combos are endless!
Fear Jon Spires though. That kid comes dressed to kill at EVERY function!!! I saw him last night at a Bingo hall... 3-piece and all! And with the winnings he brought home, it'll be a wonder if he's not rocking some designer threads.
I have a couple of darkhorse candidates: Brian Nicola. Pioneer Blue is his color. Grant McCormick: the dude just has it. Plus the gold really accents his Timex wrist-watch.
Also, four-fifths of the Gahanna squad. Bald is the new Fabio-ness. Eat your heart out, Dan Richy!
A couple more to end this unfortuante post; Steven Ayers - The Haven. Warm-ups are in...and don't you forget it.
The new and improved, lighter, thinner and more aero-dynamic Scott "maddog" King. Have you seen this guy!? Lookin' good, sweet thang!
And last, but certainly not least... Eddie Jayne and, yes, you guessed it, Jason Allen. Anyone else wondering style of jacket the Tiger boosters bought him???
One last one if I may... Brad "the Ghey" Harris... Ceasar is alive and Levi's never go out of style! ...snail...
Peace! -

Well played. I expected the salt shaker. You throw me a curve ball. See you at Westland... if not sooner!Dirtyscramble wrote: That was so Peasant Cruiser! -
DuckmeGrant McCormick- The dude does have it, litereally he keeps that haircut from the 90s in style, rumor has it he did get in a fight with a trash can and lost. But dont be suprised if his understudy, Brett Potts, comes out lookin just as fresh, ive seen him at a couple dual meets and the Golden bear tournament, the young gun cleans up well

PetersonManDidnt Mike Brusadin lose to the Darby and Kilbourne 215?

USMCdevil05I know he lost to the Kilbourne 215 last week, but im not sure about the Darby kid.

I think the top two at heavyweight are a lock. Number three is Cullen, clearly step behind one and two, but a clear step in front of the rest of the feild, but that last spot is up for grabs. -
PetersonMani doubt Cullen will wrestle heavy...he'll prbly go 215

lowsingle174Thank you for the nod on the CVG award. As the front runner, I just want to thank a few people who got me this far: #1 Jeff Jordan, without your help I would have never realized the potential of a baseball hat and jeans at a wrestling meet. #2 Don Johnson, I found it mystifying to wear a suit coat with a marion franklin T-Shirt underneath, and the power that it draws from an individual. #3 Jason Allen, 2 words, MEMBERS ONLY. Finally I would like to thank the Elder Cruiser, Patrick H. Nieman III. Without your help I would have not been able to understand how wrestling shoes make a regular pair of straight leg Wranglers ooze with class.....
See you at the Afton Quadrangular..

I've been hearing that as well, but he hasn't been there yet. I can't imagine his first match at a new weight would be at Sectionals.PetersonMan wrote: i doubt Cullen will wrestle heavy...he'll prbly go 215
If that's the case, then Shivener should stay at 130. At 130, Shivener is a likely Darby District champ. At 125 he'll have to deal with McCombs, a match-up I don't see going in his favor. Also, state wide 130 is much weaker than 125. If Jamie clark isn't at full strength, then 130 is the place to be. Even with a strong Clark, at 130 the road to the finals is much more manageable.ontheline wrote:

Ya'll can just count yourselves lucky that Thee Olentangy has dropped to Div. II for the next 2 years or one Bernard Petereit may have ended all controversy on the the annual CVG award at the Darby district. His stunning look of cleanly pressed Carhardt overalls, a 10 day old clean shave, 1 blood stained XXL coaches shirt, and tpooed off with franklin toboggan hat scream pimp to anybody who tries to compete at his level including CVG himself.cruiser_96 wrote: Derek Oney. Some have even gone as far as to call the whole movement of divisions by CVG and BP one big OHSAA conspiracy. A source inside the office of Hank Zaborniak has informed me that the thought behind some divisional movement is to allow Petereit a chance to compete in a whole nother league with the mullets and cowboy boots as seen out in Urichsville, Ohio as well as give someone else a chance, no pun intended, at the Darby District.
In the mean time, my money at Darby district is on none other than Dave Grant of Westerville United. Nobody can sport a maroon "swishy" V neck pull-over and osh-kosh khakis avec old school Buster Brown penny loafers with no socks ala Don Johnson circa 87'. A quick fade at the barbershop deemed the "Carelton" and the rest of you all should just stay home on that big day and let someone else coach your kids... -

DirtyscrambleSpringfield Also known as NOT HOLLAND SPRINGFIELD!
-
hang_looseCruiser_96, Just curious if you have a "darkhorse" for making it to the state tournament in each weight class?
-
Sprawl and ShootI kind of like the Mississippi Mudflap!!!! Always one of my favorites!!!
-
bpetereitYou know....down in "Claymont" I will be rocking the Mullet, as well as some holey jeans, and some nice Wolverine Work boots. Untied of course. That's how we do it down there!!!
-
cruiser_96Having shed the "darkhorse" moniker, I do not think I'll come up with a list.
BP: That's funny right there, I don't care who you are. -
