Oh that is funny! Way to start a rumor Cruiser! LOL!cruiser_96 wrote: The only one I heard about was Brocky Leidecker!
I'M KIDDING!!!!!!!!! He's fine. Just a joke, people. ...just a joke. -
nykcAnyone here know why Marrero backed out of the match against Karageorge?
-
wingman87thHe was ill. He's been sick for days, and very weak. Decided it was better to not go out there being weak.
-
Varsityfan32didnt feel healthy enough to wrestle will probably get a lower seeding at districts now
-
USMCdevil05
There are no seeding at districts broham! 1 wrestles 4 and 2 wrestles 3! You have a 1-4 from 4 sectionals and the wrestle in the above order for the first round!Varsityfan32 wrote: didnt feel healthy enough to wrestle will probably get a lower seeding at districts now -
Varsityfan32thats what I mean mistakenly "broham" if he had won probably would've wrestled a 4 instead of a 3 which are usually tougher just my opinion
-
romulusA healthy Marrero has a good shot at a district championship no matter who he wrestles. Hopefully he gets healthy and back to strength.

I agree Romulus! The kid has skills. His temper gets to him sometimes though! He needs to keep his head!romulus wrote: A healthy Marrero has a good shot at a district championship no matter who he wrestles. Hopefully he gets healthy and back to strength. -

So does getting 11 guys through to Districts, and winning the team race by 60+ points, qualify as "winning this sectional going away"?Shankapotamus wrote:
Really. What weight classes do you have them winning as they "win this going away"?knightflyer150 wrote: I think O Lib wins this sectional going away.
Congrats to the staff and wrestlers at Liberty. -

He might make runner up in districts but I think Karageorge is taking it all this year up until states. He beat Marrero last year and Karageorge is way better this year. I was really looking forward to that match so I hope Marrero gets better in time. -

TigerRaiderGotta give Liberty their dues! Did they even have ANYBODY sit out the final round? It seemed like the finals were Olentangy Liberty vs Everybody else! Great job! Good Luck at Districts, I'm afraid your competition is going to be much better. And did you see that ANIMAL Reynoldsburg had at 171???????? Look OUT Districts!!!!!!!!! And Good luck Marrero! He will have a tough time feeling much better by next week!

ZombieScramble101the final at 112 was insane, boyd was literally relentless on top, very good match
-
monkeywrestlercongrats to liberty, however they only won 5 out of 11 finals matches.......blame it on not caring or w/e u want to blame it on, but u would have thought they would have won a few more.

Are you kidding me? They dominated this sectional. I'm not even from Olentangy, but did make the comment " they've got someone in every match in the finals.". Awesome job by Olentangy Liberty, and let me say the parents in the stands sitting close were very classy. Supported all the winners, from Liberty or not. Good Luck to them all.monkeywrestler wrote: congrats to liberty, however they only won 5 out of 11 finals matches.......blame it on not caring or w/e u want to blame it on, but u would have thought they would have won a few more. -

that "monster" at 171 got beat by liberties Joe Archer 11-1 earlier in the season... Archer had tore cartilage in his chest in his semi finals match.TigerRaider wrote: Gotta give Liberty their dues! And that "monster" at 171 from the Burg had a torn ACL all year, and was just coming back at that time.smacktalk4484 wrote:

smacktalk4484well i suppose we will see what happens at districts. he is obviously a solid wrestler because he made it this far.

When you say "look out Districts", are you thinking Martyn wins it? Or are you saying he qualifies? Or are you saying he'll be a tough out? With Josh Demas, Kwan Bailey, Matt Ferguson and Tyler Ramsey in the bracket, there's not much room for error.TigerRaider wrote: And did you see that ANIMAL Reynoldsburg had at 171???????? They both are, and good luck to both of them.smacktalk4484 wrote: well i suppose we will see what happens at districts. he is obviously a solid wrestler because he made it this far. -

TigerRaiderAll I'm sayin is........ "There's another DOG in the fight!" I'm just sayin!.........All the wrestlers did a great job and most of the parents behaved themselves! Even the Reynoldsburg parents played nice! Good Luck to all the wrestlers going to districts!

overtimeArcher was so severly injured he almost defaulted before and during the match. I'll take a healthy Archer over Martyn. Just my opinion. No offense to Martyn but he caught a break. Good luck to both at districts. Hopefully Archer can get healthy. That being said the fab four (demas, bailey, ferguson, ramsey) are my heavy favorites (I changed this from "locks" after cruiser knocked some sense into me) for states. There are also other very good 171's that are excellent (ford, sumner, porter, fry, etc.).
-
romulusovertime your talking locks at the district tournament ......there's no such thing ! Every year when the dust settles there are several "locks" sitting at home.
As for Martyn catching a break we'll see next week, coming back from his knee injury he's peaking at the right time and wrestling well.
