I always said aunt/uncle but I LOVE IT DEVIL!

"Harris expects his team to be without sophomore Cody Notestine (145) for the remainder of the season because of a shoulder injury." From: http://www.thisweeknews.com/content/stories/pickerington/sports/2013/01/09/wrestling-central-shows-it-can-compete-strong.html
I think you had notestine #8 -

Yes I plan on putting up updated ranking Sunday or Monday after the occ started this week and a lot of good matchs at the Porter this weekend.bump_and_run;1362470 wrote:another small change for 45:

Big Walnut
Canal Winchester
Hayes
Gahanna Lincoln
Watkins
maybe more...
edit: speaking of which over on yappi it's posted that the bigger mcdougle is out with a concussion and will not be participating at marion -
USMCdevil2005Wow that is the wrong tournament to miss. That stinks. Sucks he's a senior and misses out on 5 matches.
-
bump_and_run
it's actually a two day. it's a funky format, so it's not a total of 10, but most kids can expect 7-8 matches.USMCdevil2005;1363015 wrote:Wow that is the wrong tournament to miss. That stinks. Sucks he's a senior and misses out on 5 matches. -
USMCdevil2005Thanks for the heads up. I will make sure to check results. If you are going to be there some updates through out the day on here would be AWESOME!
-
bump_and_run
will have friends there. the organizer posted over on yappi that he's going to try and post updates throughout the day. like i said, it's a funky format. first night will be just three pool matches with seeded kids in different pools. the next day will be a bracket where the better matchups will happen.USMCdevil2005;1363189 wrote:Thanks for the heads up. Awesome. I am working on the d2 rankings now but I am most likely going to wait until this sunday or monday to finish and post them due to alot of central district match ups that happened this week and also from this coming weekends results.bump_and_run;1363510 wrote:will have friends there. the organizer posted over on yappi that he's going to try and post updates throughout the day. like i said, it's a funky format. first night will be just three pool matches with seeded kids in different pools. the next day will be a bracket where the better matchups will happen. -
Blast82.5Devil - 106 result, Furnas over Lasko 18-6 last night, and it wasn't as close as the score indicated.
-
Blast82.5Oops, I mean "Lakso" ... sorry.
-
cruiser_96
My newspaper edition has Manarolla (DC) dec. Lakson (CC) 9-7... Is that supposed to be Lasko as well??? Could be Jackson, could be Lasko... heck! it could be Lakson!!! Just wondering.Blast82.5;1363626 wrote:Devil - 106 result, Furnas over Lasko 18-6 last night, and it wasn't as close as the score indicated. -

Yes. It's true. Manarolla (Matarolla?, the spelling might be off here too) beat Lasko at 113lbs in a close match.
Last night is the first time that I watched Manarolla and he's a pretty good wrestler. Needs some fine tuning, but good strength and very offensive minded wrestling for a Freshmen.
PS. Lasko is still a good wrestler and was fun to watch. He was clearly out-wrestled by the OL wrestler and the Coffman wrestler just had too much horsepower for him. -
USMCdevil2005Did lakso bump up both time?

No. Just for the Coffman match.USMCdevil2005;1363749 wrote:Did lakso bump up both time? -

Big Walnut
?
Canal Winchester
hammond @45 got fifth or sixth (45 was reportedly stacked here)
Lacey@220 first or second
Hayes
Sierawski@82 got third or fourth
Gahanna Lincoln
mcdougle@32 got second
Watkins
lieb@20 got second
banks@32 got third or fourth
holter@38 got second
lancia@52 got third
george@220 got third or fourth -
The2cKDudeReal excited for the Watkins kids results here, Lieb pins Crabtree (SQ '12) in 52 seconds, Lancia loses to Wyatt Music (3rd @ 145 ly) 4-3, and Holter pinsnhis way through 7 matches on route to finals loss. Add in Bankes (not Banks) and George and you have a decent tournament team. I think they wound up 5th, but I could be wrong.
George has really been a pleasent surprise, started to emerge at the end of last year and he is really flipping the switch, only loss on the day was to Lacy. -
M5 GrapplerGreat Stuff,
Juty was back this week at Licking Heights, Looked good, ran into Struttman WN Got handled 11-2 or something. -

Can they challenge mt v or are they more of a tourney team? -

they wrestled MV and lost handily. was told they had four or five kids cut that week to certify and guys were not themselves. They are also without their 195 pounder and I'm curious about their normal 126 DQ dylan scot who doesn't appear to have wrestled at marion. They have some studs left, but i think injuries and lack of depth have hurt their dual prospects.Cthelites;1365031 wrote:watkins looking very impressive this yr. Any Warriors folks know?bump_and_run;1365034 wrote:they wrestled MV and lost handily. was told they had four or five kids cut that week to certify and guys were not themselves. Scott 126, chism 145, lyday 195, and Taylor at heavy are all out with injuries. They were a pretty good dual tem until the injuries. They don't have enough depth. Hope they heal quick.bump_and_run;1365037 wrote:just an edit to my results above. Bankes was at 26 not 32 as i originally posted. sorry. So not sure about scott, is he injured or at 32? knightflyer150I work with Manarolla's mom at Orange. He did our club in the spring and is an intense kid, just wrestling for his second year. Keep your eye on him over the next four years, just a freshman.

The2cKDude
Scott wrestled at 132, but was hurt on day one... coukd be wrong but it seems likely he will stay there with Bankes going to 126 full timelennyrox55;1365041 wrote:Scott 126, chism 145, lyday 195, and Taylor at heavy are all out with injuries.
