The Devils Centrail District Rankings!~

Sorry ny but Forrider is on a mission to win the State this yr!
  • cruiser_96
I'm not predicting an Alexander win or loss, but I've heard from about three or four coaches that something is different with Alexander this year. Like, thrice as good as last year. And I trust these coaches.

Also - and this too is nothing against Forrider - when I was doing the Central District write-up, I was asking around concerning some of the City League stars. One person warned me... "Watch out. Alexander has been working non-stop this summer." I don't know if that is true or not, but here's what I do know... A good number of people have recognized and commented on his improvement. ...and I thought he was pretty good last year!!!

One thing I do know for sure... I'll be at Darby in late February when it all goes down!!! (Here's hoping I'm not snacking in the hospitality room when the match is up!!!)

No doubt AA is good and at another level this yr.
But so is Noah. No shame in that!
I think all 3 of those 38s will place high at the schott. I think Noah will be atop thats all.

just because you don't hear about Noah's workouts doesn't mean he's not working hard. I think last year everyone picked over Noah for a much improved wrestler to.... We know he's not the "sexy" pick but he has proven to be consistant. Good Luck to all 138lbers.

The good news is, I've seen him (nforrider) work. Don't need hearsay for that! (It still baffles me that the Monarch room wasn't filled to capacity when Tommy was there.) But guess what, I saw the ones who were there and I'm going to assume I'll see close to all of them at the Schott!

ps: If we were only going on the "sexy" pick, no one would get past CVG (Dublin Coffman). Perhaps the Spy-Dogg (Lancaster) can win some votes this year!!!

Awesome for Central Ohio Wrestling!!

I'd love it if we had three or four place-winners per weight class in all of the weights! But I think that's a bit unrealistic. But I'd take about 5 to 7 like our 106 pounders did last year! Heck yeah!!!

Agreed! Saw the Waynedale boys last weekend at Coshocton - minus a couple of starters. WOW! And so many are freshman! Are they close enough to Central Ohio that perhaps we can annex them? :D

HAHA! Hit the tanning beds boys! We have a competition now.

I think Forrider, Alexander, and McDougle are all top 6 at the schott for sure. Only time will tell though if we get to see a darby show down for the title between them and then another a week later at the schott for a state title! That would be amazing!

At 145, T. Neely (UA) had a win over Hammond (CW) at Kevin Cleveland last weekend, Hammond was up by 4 and then looked like he started to gas

I saw that and actually meant to go back in and redo this. I started doing the rankings last week and forgot to go back over that weight class. Basically I would switch them. I think if Hammond doesn't gas though he beats Neely. Just my opinion. But if Grandma had balls she'd be grandpa.
