Dad4SportsThanks Devil!! Good job!! You have an East advantage over the Central in SQ's (32-24). Bucksman now has it at 37-19, after earlier predicting 42-14 (before the District bracket was known). The Central has topped the East for the past 2 seasons....each by a 30-26 count. It will be interesting to see how the numbers shake out this time....and how far the pendulum swings to the East.

Hey man im a D1 guy. lol. So sometimes I overlook alot of these kids but I know Stuebenville is GOOD! They win this district.pickupthepace;1092946 wrote:Good job Charger i think your predictions are a little more accurate than USMCdevil2005.IMO.
Travis Gusan at HVY will be top 6 in Columbus. I don't see him losing here. The kid eats Toddlers for lunch. He eats lightning and craps thunder! lol.
Also the Schembri kid from Walnut ridge at 145 is tougher than you think some city league kid will be. He is very smooth. I think he gets out. He is a transfer from gahanna Lincoln. Also, I cant remember the last time Walnut Ridge had 2 state qualifiers in 1 year. ANyone know??
Good rankings though Charger! -

Love most these picks, especially 220 (where I think you are spot on), but I would say Mays and Ponchak are both atleast 8-10 points better than Abduljalil.Charger;1092929 wrote:Just my opinions. I dont care about who beat who in December and so on just for fun.

Mays may be by even more, he is a BEAST of a freshman. Mark my words, he will wins state title or two before he graduates. -
USMCdevil2005Yea mays is tough. We saw them at Watkins. I havent seen Ponchak. Gase isn't too bad either.
-
The2cKDude
Mays won a very tough weight at Watkins. I know Gase was out for that tournament, but he would have made it even more interesting. He will also be in the conversation for top 6 here.USMCdevil2005;1093226 wrote:Yea mays is tough. We saw them at Watkins. I havent seen Ponchak. Gase isn't too bad either. -
great95i think gray gets 4 seed at heavy

Dad4SportsTop half of the bracket at 132 is loaded....Thompson vs Scherer semi??
-
ChargerThanks for the comments. I will be the first to tell you, that I dont know all the kids from every sectional. I just try to make a logical choice and not pick the kids I like to root for just to pick them. I am hoping several of these kids prove me wrong. This should be a fun district to watch and a very good team race between steubenville and Claymont.
-
bigkgizzleIf Rollison from River Valley makes it to state, this is a weak district at 132. I don't see that happening.
-
USMCdevil2005
Yea this district is always fun to watch! This is where we went when I was in school. Always had tough kids. Back then DeSales was stacked and so was Hamilton Twp and Teays Valley. Watkins was d2 back then too and they had a great team......Ah Those were the Good OLD days! lolCharger;1093408 wrote:Thanks for the comments. USMCdevil2005Buckeye Local was tough too, they still had Coach Davis then!
