I agree there is none close to these two but I see Smith with the win here he is the top 103 in central Ohio.

Having seen both, I don't think I can predict a winner......both rock solid

    Coshocton's gym is fairly sized.

The paper mill there makes this town smell funny. At 103 Smith (Ready) wins this one. The next great one out of Ready!

He got hurt at Sectionals.....hit his head pretty hard a couple of times.
  • riders76
From what I was told, he hit his head pretty good Friday, but was able to continue wrestling. And, then on Saturday he did it again in his semi's match and was knocked out. He ended up with a concussion and defaulted to 6th.

Fields wins the 103 class... He hasn't been tested all year... Closest match has been 5 or 6 points.

Right and thats why I take Smith look at who he has been "tested" with this always pays off the kids he faced at the CIT alone showed him what he would face at the State level. Look I am not saying there is no way Fields cannot beat Smith they are both great and it will be a great match but when the chips are down I will go with the guy that has went to OT with some of the very best 3's in the state in season you cant get that any other way should be great cant wait to see it.

How abot some other weights like 189 how is this one looking?

It looks 200% bigger but actually it's only 85% bigger.
  • Head_Knight
Fields only lost to the #1 ranked kid in the country 6-4.. He has also been on the big stage in big matches... Plus he is a junior that cut cut from 120lbs... Both are solid kids, but my edge goes to Fields..
  • Head_Knight
Sorry, the score was 7-5 in the State Semis...(not 6-4)

Are you saying Ready has a better schedule than Pleasant? lol.....i sure hope not! Ready schedule was similar to a division I JV schedule. The CIT is a joke. Other than Moe and Chanel of course. The CIT has no depth anymore.

This will be a great match because it matches two contrasting styles. Smith will stall and try to keep it close while Fields will NOT stall and work for a fall. You know, the wrestling is meant to be. I'll be rooting for Fields, I like his agressive style.

    Good Luck to both.
