  3 times wow and say what you will about the CIT or Ready overall but no one can question the kids Bobby has faced this year head to head and I will leave it at that and post no more on it as this seems to been headed down a path it should not like I said both are great kids and it will be a good match.

  possibly now you will admit Ready wrestled a very weak schedule this season? If i'm reading the brackets correctly, 103 and 112 qualified. Decent young team, but they will progressively decline as time goes along.

  Possibly you need to let it go CC. Ready is a good young team but is anchored by some tough seniors. Guys like Hall, Knapp, Halko, and Cooper went through 3 coaches in 4 years and still found a way to get better every year. All are very good wrestlers and outstanding young men. I assume you have an axe to grind with CVG but it is classless for an adult to repeatedly denigrate a 15 year old kid on a public forum (or elsewhere for that matter). I've known Bobby since he was about 7 years old and he has work his butt off to be as good as he is. WHy begrudge him that?

  8-4 and could have been 8-2 but Fields gave up 2pts late... Smith and Hall very impressive though... Nice team Coach V...

  head knight......what were you watching? It was 2-0 end of the first with a Fields takedown......Fields got a reversal to make it 4-0 in the 2nd and rode Smith out to end the 2nd....Smith went neutral and took Fields down to make it 4-2 and quickly kicked him out to make it 5-2 , and then Smith took Fields down again to make it 5-4 and kicked him once again to make it 6-4 with about 45 seconds to go and Fields got a takedown close to the line(a legit takedown) to make it 8-4..........FIELDS definitely outwrestled Smith but actual scoring was Fields 2 takedowns and 1 reversal to Smith's 2 takedowns...don't make it look like it was 2 late points for Smith when it wasn't .....that's all! Good Luck to both this weekend.I would really like to see this Final match once again but they both have their work cut out for them!

  8-4 was the final of the Fields/Smith match... Fields won and controled the entire way... Smith and Hall were both very impressive... Nice team Coach V...

  Smith is a stud and working out with Hall all summer really helped Hall improve. Good luck to both this weekend.
  
  Just to address Aaron's situation. Early this year we heard Heminger was going back to 119 so we started exploring other options such as 125. Then by mid season we noticed Myers was as good as advertised thus that only leaves 112. In early December Aaron weighed in at 116.5 which led us to believe the cut to 112 wouldn't be all that difficult. As it turns out, it was difficult and it was too late to turn back.
  
  I believe when you’re a state placer as a Junior, the obvious goal as a senior is to be a champ. Together we decided 112 and together we decided enough was enough. Together we tried to make a dream come true and it just didn’t happen. Trust me when I say we are both as depressed as it gets. Not reaching goals is a very lonely place.
  
  As to the officiating at the district tournament. I felt the majority of the officials were top notch. Most were state caliber officials that call matches consistently. My only problem is when officials allow themselves to become too involved.
  
  What I mean by this is, sometimes officials sense this is a big match thus feel they must make a call. Instead of just officiating a match, they let emotions get in the way and start making calls. Silly calls, not scoring calls, but let cautions and stalling take over the match. Wrestlers must get out of their normal routine because now the official has decided to make calls that can decide the match. Cautions and stalling take place, yes, but should not to the point they can decide a match.
  
  I ask that this weekend all officials JUST CALL THE MATCH, don’t become so involved that you feel you need to make a call.

  Coach good luck this weekened. Aaron will be missed by me and my family especially my boys who love Aaron, They set beside him for sometime Saturday. I am sure Aaron will be successfull and whatever he does. See ya tomorrow.
