    Groveport Madison Freshmen Tournament...

    H. Knapp (OO) is currently 3-0. Great job, Mr. Knapp!
  • cruiser_96
Knapp (OO) finished up 5 and 0 on the day. Luckily for Coach Nicola, Knapp reached his 5-match limit, because he was biting at the bit!

Who is the lowest Brakeman ranked wrestler to win a state title?
  • cruiser_96
I would assume an unranked, but that is IMPOSSIBLE. Lord Brakeman's radar is ENORMOUS!!! I'll look into it.One thing is for certain... It wasn't anybody from Groveport Madison, class of 1996.

Richie Spicel was ranked #17 as a freshman back in 2005. This one's a little obscure, but in 1988 Joe Peet from Canfield was ranked #24 out of 25 at 171. He was a Firestone District Champ in OT and then one the 160-pound title by one point.

Wow! One it all by won point! That's pretty impressive.

I think I have "Big Trouble in Little China" on VHS. I'll check.

Some HS wrestlers need to to learn that a calorie is a unit of energy. It's not a unit of weight or mass!

The amount of energy required to raise 1 gram, 1 degree Celsius!

Wow, Hunter got his arse kicked by a true Freshman. Never expected a Buckeyes loss to Corn'.
  • Bitterrunner-up
The fact that he lost wasn't so unexpected, but the margin was surprising. The end result of the dual was about what I expected, give or take a few bonus points here and there.

Is it too soon to start a rumor Bo becomes a Buckeye?

    No, seriously.

    I'm calling Buckeyes or

Or, Salto made a good point. Barry signed a contract again because of the Jordan train from Champaign to Dane?

I dunno'......ever since Colt joined the staff, I kinda think he joins the Buckeyes.

I just ordered my tickets for the B1G tournament - in the Ohio State fan section - to be held in West Lafeyette, Indiana - home of the Purdon't Boilermakers.

I'm not sure what this means but when I started my order I clicked a button but then thought I did something wrong, so I hit the back button. Before I left I noticed two things... #1) it said my ticket was on hold and I had thirty minutes to purchase it or else! #2) that ticket was 10-010 (or something like that.)

When I ordered the second ticket and went to purchase it, the ticket number showed 10-009.

I do not know if that was a coincidence or not but it did make me wonder. Peace!
