Dublin Scioto, I do believe. All-Freshmen Tournament. Usually draws some big guns. I kind Of wish it would get more pub, but it's whatever, dude.

maybe DTV will start a new series like FNL now that it is over. Billy Bob Thornton made the best wrestling coach in 'Woodcock"

    John Farley: Lets go, Woodcock.
Mr. Woodcock: You must like getting spanked, Farley. I guess it runs in the family.

Mr. Woodcock: You're going to find out there are alot more important things to know than the capital of Montana. Nedderman, what's the capital of Montana?
    Young Nedderman: Helena?
Mr. Woodcock: Who cares? Go run a lap!

Freedom of the press is guaranteed only to those who own one.

When does Brakeman 2012 come out? Sorry, couldn't wait to get a jumpstart on next year's inevitable topic.

"Who kicked you out of bed this morning?"

That is what my wife just asked me. Thought I'd share.

Now is this a bench press? Or leg press? I thought I heard once that Nick Mangolds sister was a monster on the leg press.

    Cruiser, Tourney tomorrow?
  • cruiser_96
Yup. Kinda screwed the pooch with weigh ins. We only had one time slot for all weigh ins. Should have put a second time on there. We tried to get the word out to as many as possible but I have a feeling we are going to have a slew of people show up in the morning to weigh in but wrestling in the PM.

    Next year we'll fix it.

If you are reading this AFTER the tournament .. I apologize.

I see that Claymont won the ECOL Tournament, Dover 2nd, and New Philly 3rd.

Claymont did win. I'd like to thank coach koll, coach sanderson, coach Ryan and coach Davis for showing up a few days through out the last month. And I'm extra happy to have been able to pay you guys the 5 figures you deserve!

    Awesome!

As a dad that has always wrestled EVERY one of his sons matches internally, I have to tell you about two moms I remember-

One was this little petite "Female Clark Kent" looking woman that sat completely uninterested at tournaments until her kid got out there. As soon as her kid started his match, she still never uttered a word, but completely contorted herself in every position imaginable as her kid wrestled. She was up, down, sideways, arms wrapped around her head, on all fours....she was unbelievable fun to watch, I don't know if her son EVER won or lost cause I couldn't take my eyes off HER performance. I know it had to be a nervious sub-conscious-type thing, and if someone ever showed her a tape herself, she probably would have died.----Good, Good Stuff

The second mom I really remember is a lady that had this nervous habit of yelling at the top of her lungs "go Christian...Christian go..go Christian...Christain go - for the ENTIRE match. Me and my wife had the misfortune of sitting right behind her at this tournament, and during the kids 3rd match, I decided to start counting "Go Chrtistains"---
SHE BROKE TRIPPLE DIGITS in one 6 minite match.

Man, I miss going to those High School matches. Don't take them for granted. Good times
