Longwell who beat strope last year and may even do so again this year, Haslam from Westland lost to longwell by a point (a full nelson call), Varazashvili from Kilbourne who beat Longwell and lost to Haslam by a point. They would all be close matches and who knows who would end up with their hand raised.
So are you saying you think all of those guys you mentioned are going to be at 119?

From what I remember, I think Varazashvili beat Haslam by a pt that day.

Varazashvili already made scratch 119. Haslam easily makes 123, if he decides to cut to 119 he could make it, but it is his decision.
  • kennypowers
But what would be the point in dropping? 119 is absolutely loaded.
  • Kwrestling
you think 119 loaded? look at 125. David, Smoot, Boone, Haslam, Alexander, Varazashvili, Hoffman. that's 7 kids that I just mentioned and I bet there is more.

Plus the kids coming from the Dayton sectional....possibly including returning SP Stevens from Beavercreek if they come East again this year.

Disabato, Strope, Longwell, Hunter. Not even close

Agreed, the top dogs at 19 are tougher than the top at 25, but perhaps there is more depth at 25 after that top tier?
I heard Ouzts might be going 25(can anyone confirm? is he alpha'd there?...I know Forrider is but doubt he makes the drop)
And like Dad said whos coming from Dayton?
Where will Varash Haslam and Longwell end up?
    Should be very interesting!

Where is the Thursday night thunder!

it's always interesting! And that's why we love it.

Or is it interesting because we love it???

You may be right. Plus you will probably see some 119's bump up adding even more depth. I'm not sure who's the next level of guys at 119, but cracking that top four is gonna be tough.

I'm struggling to find a "2nd tier" at 119? Unless I'm forgetting someone, there's a huge gap between the top 4 that have been listed and everyone else in the Central District. Any potential invaders from Dayton at 119 who could spoil the party? We'll know more after Sunday's seeding meeting. What happens if 3 of these guys end up at the same CD sectional? Could that mess things up at District...causing one of the top 4 to be left out?

Did Nace beat McDougle? Has McDougle and Forrider wrestled this year?
  • cruiser_96
Nace (TV) did beat McDougle (GL) (11-10, I think). I do not think McDougle (GL) has wrestled Forrider (M) this year.
  • Cthelites
Forrider did tech Nace at Brecksville.
McDougal beat Nace the first 2 and lost the last one. Very good matches.
Has Ouzts faced any of the 3?

You couldn't separate the 3 Nace/D McDougle matches with a fine-toothed comb.....those 2 are that close! I think Forrider is definitely a notch above

Totally agree Dad4! Where is Ouzts in that group?
I think he is pretty close.

    Who else at 30?
D'urzo and Forrider would be close if Sboro comes over.
  • Standoff22
The only second tier guys I know are Moorehart and McCurdy. both very tough. Could see them sneak out.

I have not seen Ouzts since his sophomore year, so I don't think I'm qualified to say

Right you never know how the brackets shake out.
Not always the best 4 get out.

Exactly....that's why I said it will be interesting to see who goes where after Sunday's meeting. If 3 of the top guys (at any weight) end up at the same sectional it sets up a "possibility" that someone may be left out of a trip to the Schott when the dust clears the following week at Darby

Pick. Central has a pretty tough and strong 125 pounder. And I never doubt the Jacket.

Where does that place the Dayton boys such as Shivner (Springboro), Gilbert (Lebanon), and Denlinger (Fairmont). Shiver was a SP last. Have any of the Dayton guys wrestled Forrider, McDougle, Nace, or Ouzt this year? If so what were the results?
