Snakeskins84Davidson and Teays are a tossup most weekends..
This past weekend Teays doesn't have Smoot at 125..Did they give up 6 at 125 to Davidson?
If they did Smoot probably gets 6 and the score goes from 41-30 Davidson to 36-35 Teays..(still a tossup either way)
Would have liked to have been there for a couple of those duals at Gahanna..
Two very solid dual and tourny teams.. -

I don't think Smoot pins Davidson senior Eric HoffmanSnakeskins84;650674 wrote:Davidson and Teays are a tossup most weekends..

Snakeskins84What was the hoffman vs. tv score?
I see that Hutchins pinned Hoffman in the second period..So I would give Smoot a chance to pin him as well..Nothing guarenteed, just a chance.. -
Dad4Sports
Hoffman won by a very quick pin over Richards. Smoot may very well have pinned him...though I don't see that. However, Hoffman was one of the D1 125 wrestlers at the pre-season Central District All-Star meet (defeating SQ Thompson - London). I'm just saying Hoffman is pretty good......Snakeskins84;650688 wrote:What was the hoffman vs. tv score? -
Snakeskins84Info duly noted thank you..

SidLiedecker still hasnt made scratch at 171. Why is he ranked at there? And why hasnt Muncrief (Dublin Coffman) broke in to the top three at 171? He just placed second at Mason.

Leidecker was at 171 last Saturday..... -
SidHe was 189 at Gahanna Duals per your posting. I love ya Dad but, thats what was there.

You probably saw the results from the dual against CW at the Gahanna Duals. He bumped to 189 there, but was at 171 for most, in not all, of the Vikings' other 4 duals.Sid;650719 wrote:I swear I had seen him at 189. Where were they again this weekend? -
SidMay I be so needy to see those results? Especially the Teays Valley and Davidson dual. I know you are the greatest font of information for central ohio and we all appreciate it. Seriously! Thank you very much.

Sorry.....you'll have to get the TV results from someone who was there watching their duals.....someone like....lets's see....USMC Devil. I know he was there.Sid;650730 wrote:May I be so needy to see those results? Especially the Teays Valley and Davidson dual. After Hughes just got beat 53-9, I thought he may have a case!!! Check baumspage.com. Then go to the Maumee Bay Classic. It's right there in black and white. 53-9!!! Didn't know it was possible. -

Hughes lost in OT in that match. He was in on a good double and was out scrambled. I seen that on baumspage and thought it was funny. Score was 2-2 going into OT. Elling had 2 escapes Hughes had a reversal. -
cruiser_9653-9. Period! Baumspage doesn't lie!!!

iGranbyI'd like to see Straughter (RB) VS Mullucey (Coffman) Two very very tough kids, thatd would be a good one

I'd like to see him against all three! (One at a time and with a 45 minute break between matches, of course!) -
Coach GeiszIf I saw it correctly, I believe Davidson wrestled some of their 2's against Teays after they locked up the dual. Is that what happend or did I see that wrong?
-
Westie101I like sparks at 103, hes tough. why no hunter at 119? did nace beat mcdougle at 130? if so very good win for him. brown vs. pickett at 160 is match of year imo. i also wonder if bowens has closed the gap on leidecker at all this year, hes been looking good.
-
iGranbyi couldnt agree more
-
iGranbyif i can find the time this week, i may post some of my thoughts on 4th through 6th, and maybe some "others" (not that my opinion matters in the long run, i just like the discussion) the district is about 4 weeks away? (correct me if im wrong) cant wait...and then the next week....dont get me started
-
cruiser_96I'm glad to have your blessing at 103. I have heard no complaints from Pickerington Central and its Jacket about 119. Yes, Nace won 11-10 (maybe). Yes, it will be a great match. I'm not sure... I haven't seen the latest and lightest installment of a one Brocky "the Rock".
-
Dad4SportsI've seen 2 of the 3 Nace/D McDougle matches (1 and 3).....crazy, crazy stuff! I think their 2nd match was just as wild. They really put on a show
-
iQuitSmoot would not pin Hoffman, Maybe a major at the most. I think 119 could be a toss up. Longwell who beat strope last year and may even do so again this year, Haslam from Westland lost to longwell by a point (a full nelson call), Varazashvili from Kilbourne who beat Longwell and lost to Haslam by a point. They would all be close matches and who knows who would end up with their hand raised.
