CthelitesYou still need to switch Ryan and Boone.
-
cruiser_96I will. I just didn't want to change what was going to be in the Dispatch. For next week, should both still be in the poll, I will make the switch.

No, Boone won two in a row in wrestle off and Michael hasn't beat him before at all to my knowledge. Might be my mistake about 4th, but definitely a placer. Only difference between 3-2 records of a 4th placer and Boone was the bad call. Three wins on night one means placing automatically. Assumed he would win at least one more to make it to 4th.Cthelites;623933 wrote:Didnt Michael win the first wrestle off?
Are you assuming he beats Smoot AND Wilson on his way to 4th on the other side of the bracket? -
USMCdevil05How do you say Boone should have been top 4 at brecksville? He lost to Valentine (Wapakoneta 3-2), and to Denlinger (Kettering Fairmont), Smoot beat Valentine 7-1, and wilson ( who smoot pinned ) beat Denlinger 6-3. I dont see how him winning the 3-2 match against Valentine puts him into top 4? Just curious as to what your logic behind it was.

Depends where you're at in the brackets and when you lose.
We had a kid go 3-2 and not place and one go 2-3 and did place at the MIT.
As far as Boone I dont care either way, but I heard he went 35 earlier because Michael beat him in a close wrestle off. Maybe thats why Boone just beat him twice. Usually you have to win twice to take a spot away from someone.
Both kids are tough.
Libertys line up is tough and deep.
Good luck to him. -

I meant his record was 3 & 2, I wasn't talking about the 3-2 loss. And if you read what I also said, I said that I may have been mistaken about the 4th place, but he would have been a placer with that record; there were other 4th place finishers with that record assuming the three wins came the first night. The 3-2 loss came on a stalling call that should not have been.USMCdevil05;624749 wrote:How do you say Boone should have been top 4 at brecksville? Boone went 35 so Michael could get his 25 certification. The spots was Boone's to lose since he wrestled it last year and certified this year. I don't care either, just happen to know the info. Bottom line is he didn't place so it's all just discussion. Anyway, you're right about their lineup and they should be good this year. -
Dad4SportsI saw Boone wrestle twice last year at the Marion Elgin Tourney........tough kid
-
iGranbyLiberty is sooooooo loaded, i hope they win it this year (the districtt), this could be their best line up for a while!, then again, who knows who is gonna come up in the next few years?! just speculation from me
-
bw133Cruiser, Just saw this and i thought id start by satying happy new year big guy, and i really like the team standings. I watched and wrestled a bit with Liberty all summer and that team is gonna come into february doing big things. I am surprised i didnt know teays valley was that strong this year.. then again as we saw a couple years ago when sean jordan and zac conn finally got away from each others weight class you had two state qualifiers in their respective weights and years. As for the Worthington guys, just gotta keep grinding, these threads and rankings mean nothing but entertainment, trust me. 135 sure looks like a fun weight class, no slouches there, got dave reynolds(GM) and Casey Nicholson (DJ) who are both solid wrestlers and when thrown into the mix can definitely shake things up. Sure is gonna be a fun year in the central district
-
nykcI know Thomas flies low on the radar, there is some talent at that school. I have a son there who in his first year wrestling last year was a district alternate. We have some good wrestlers returning, but we are still very young.
I think our true colors will show within the next few weeks as the duals come in to play. We may be very young, but there is some talent in this pool. -
USMCdevil05Gona be a good one at Darby!
-
raiderfutbolBrokaw @ 140 for Newark is a tough kid. Wrestles Howes tonight so should have a chance to prove it.
-
USMCdevil05Yea. That would be a good match!

cruiser_96I'd like to point out that those aren't the only two things that come from Texas. I could list some things, but it might take too long. And, well, I have a 2x4 to set up. Peace.

1.Yes I have seen the movie. 2. He's an actor as well as a retired Marine, I saw him in "Fletch Lives" and "Saving Silverman", doesn't make him an icon. 3. It is offensive if it's been there for 2 minutes. 4. I wouldn't expect anyone who would put it on here in the first place to take it down.
