This was tough for me. I had a few that were pretty easy to come to:

Michael Jordan - GOAT of basketball IMO.

Brett Favre - Just really liked watching him play.

AJ Green - favorite player on favorite team. Also seems like an all around good, down-to-earth guy.

After that I struggled with a fourth. 5-6 years ago I would have told you Burfict, but he can GFH now. I'd put Lebron in the honorable mention list. Between the Cavs and Bengals, that 2016 title may be the only one of my lifetime. But it's hard to overlook how much of a douchebag he's been, not to mention leaving the Cavs in disarray twice now, never committing long term, and the shit he and his agent pulled this year with trading for Anthony Davis.

There's a lot of NBA guys that are fun to watch like Lillard, Westbrook, Embiid, Curry and even the always polarizing Harden who annoys the shit out of me sometimes. For now I'm leaving it at three but I'm betting a year from now I'll put Zion on the list, even if he goes somewhere shitty like the Knicks.

Mine growing up:

  • Jordan, Griffey Jr., Penny Hardaway, and Eddie George.

Jordan and Griffey Jr: needs no explanation.  I loved watching Penny play when he was in his prime and I loved that 94-96 Orlando Magic team. Also, Eddie George was one of the main reasons why I fell in love with Buckeye football. Also, Thome almost made the list as he is my favorite Indian.

If I had to pick my own now of my best players to watch:

  • Lindor, Steph Curry, Lebron, and Brady.

I agree a lot of the conversation on Lebron. I also hated Brady for a long time and finally a few years ago just started to appreciate him more and more. I now found myself rooting for him during the playoff.

Fuck Curry, but I do kinda agree about Brady.  I wouldn't go as far as rooting for the pats during the playoffs (because fuck their fans), but it's hard not to respect his game.  He also has opened up his personality more to the public the last 5 years, which makes him more likable.  The cockiness and the shit talking that comes from him is pretty hilarious.

Good points on Brady. I too use to dislike him and the Patriots. But he seems like a likable guy and if it weren't for them then Pittsburgh probably would have been in more superbowls over the past 20 years.

Just saw an article on him where they were talking about him not being the highest paid QB in the league and his response was basically "do you know how much my wife makes?" True, but I still lol'd

Dick Jacobs—- restored the Indians franchise and sports in Cleveland

LeBron—- love/ hate but he did bring a championship to a championship starved town

My Kids—- all great high school ball players that brought me and my wife years of joy watching them play.

Woody Hayes—- The explanation would be  too long. My opinion.
