Favorite: Tiger. 

If I had to pick 3 others: Rickie, JT, Xander/DJ. There are a TON of the younger group that I really enjoy watching play. Also, lump in guys like Sneds, DL3, Horschel, and many others. The tour is just loaded is likable guys  

Guys I hate: Phil, Sergio, Reed. I have never liked Phil and probably never will. Sergio is a bitch. And Reed is Reed.

Outside of Tiger, my all time favorite is The Shark. Jack is Jack and Arnie is Arnie, but I never got to see them play, other than ceremonially.

Funny story about Jesper. When my bro and I were in middle school we were “runners” at the Memorial. Basically carried scorecards from place to place around the course. One of the days after a round, we ended up in the player’s parking area. My bro was trying to get autographs and Jesper was right there. He was trying to leave, but was also being super generous. So he grabbed my brother up and put him in his car and drove off with him. He let him out at the exit of the parking lot, which was like 200 feet away, but still pretty funny. He seemed like a cool guy.

Spieth is legit the nicest celebrity I’ve ever met. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. But good god I can’t stand his blaming everything but his shit game/talent for him playing poorly. Same issue I have with Rahm, but to a lesser extent. Rahm, however, unlike Spieth, is kind of an asshole.

Yeah, we get to see/interact with a ton of them on Monday-Wednesday. Then we see all the interview and the pre and post interview. Phil tells the reporters what questions they can ask. If they go rogue on him, he flips the fuck out as soon as it’s off air. 

Spieth is pretty tiny. The other guys are all tanks though, so he looks smaller. He’s probably a bit thicker than most average guys his size. But definitely isn’t built like an athlete. As in, smaller than a comparable guy his height who works out.

Not sure if everyone knows about Spieths sister or not, but she has pretty severe autism. Watched him miss a 5’ birdie, then the comebacks for par, and made bogey. On his way to next tee he spotted her and went under the ropes to give her a big hug. I guess she can’t make most tournaments of his. I don’t think I’ve seen someone ever be so happy to see their brother.

Anyway, love Spieth as a person. Not so much as a golfer. And I still hate that he was allowed 30 minutes to take a drop at The Open. Took Kuchar out of his game and helped Spieth find his.

Most are pretty cool, like 95% of the guys I’ve met/interacted with. Sergio is one who everyone hates, but is actually super nice. DJ is pretty blah. Not mean or anything, just legit seems to not give a fuck about anything. So doesn’t really interact with people outside his tour obligations. 

If I was banging Gretzky’s daughter, I wouldn’t let things effect me too much either. 

So, random question, and I don't have an opinion on this but I'm curious to poll the place. I, like many others, am captivated by Tiger and I don't really know why. I watched a lot of today's coverage that I normally wouldn't because of him. His popularity is astounding and this thread is evidence of it. But ten years ago his life was a mess. The DUI, injuries, and ridiculous amount of cheating on his marriage. Is his popularity linked to just keeping his head down and people eventually forgive and forget? Or was it more "IDGAF what he does off the golf course"? 
 

I don’t think what Tiger did to his wife was ok. But I also don’t really get involved in marriages outside my own and maybe direct family. Too many people cheat and lie for me to give it a second thought. He isn’t a woman beater, rapist, murdered, etc. That’s why I don’t hate him.

Some people don't do media well, but as a viewer, he comes off as a bit of a dullard.

I was shocked at how small Sergio was when I met him.  That is not a big man for how far he could hit the ball off of the tee at his peak.

That's about it as far as least favorite.....

BTW, I do admire Tiger for this domination over the years and his tenacity to get back to winning a major.  Never thought he would win one again.  I just think he is a pretty crappy human being. 

That said, I simply do not understand golf 'fans' who only care when Tiger is involved.  I like golf for the sport, not because someone is having a good tournament.  That would be like not watching football anymore because someone like Payton Manning is no longer playing.

I only have one guy i dont like and that's Matt Kuchar.
