So Marlins are dead. Where was Covid in 1997!

2/3 from Sox or Twins whenever we have those series will be huge. Thought we should’ve/could’ve swept The Royals, but at least they rallied for 2/3. Need to get around 12 wins vs them and Tigers, minimum, so right on track.

Cevale and plutko tomorrow so that they don’t have to waste 2 starters on 1 day. Nice to have Plutko in the pen who can still start when needed. Plesac on Wednesday.

It is, but this still sucks. We had the pitching advantage in all 3 games, imo. Depending on what the Sox decide to do, Giolito vs Plesac is a Chicago advantage for sure.

The upside is that we will have Bieber for Minnesota.

Tribe up 3-1 bottom of the 3rd,bases loaded and Sox are changing pitchers.

4-1 tribe after 3. Zimmer with an RBI single. Zimmer off to a good start.

Civale is 100 pitch 6 inning effort with only 2 runs. I’ll take it. 9 strikeouts too. 

Karinchak in for the 7th and walked the first guy. 

Nice job by Civale. 

Wittgren gets out of a big jam in the 8th.
